Meath should offer a replay

Think its fair comment to say Louth are the real champions of Leinster this year. Pretty poor form from and bad sportsmanship from Meath trying to pass the buck and not offering a replay. These type of things come back to haunt you.

The most galling aspect of the whole affair is that Joe Sheridan claimed after the game that his " goal " was perfectly legitimate when the whole country saw the truth for themselves on tv. Meath won the match the Meath way ! . If any lesson is to be learned it should be that in the event of any controversial score it should be mandatory for the ref to consult both umpires for their opinion. It's hardly rocket science. I feel truly sorry for the genuine Louth fans but not the small handful of idiots who disgraced themselves, their County and the GAA at the end of the game.

Wow 11 pages on a thread, we must be on for some sort of record. A big thanks to all our visitors from other counties for helping us reach 11 pages and hope they enjoyed being on the message board of the new Leinster Champions. They are very welcome back again if they wish to share their thoughts with us here on the Meath message board the Message board of the Champions.

One comment on the Lout(h)s that attacked the ref on sunday . in my opinion from the position they came from in the stadium (Hogan and Cusack stands) they couldnt have really seen what exactly had happened in the goalmouth scramble . It was only clear on TV exactly what happened .So they were attacking the ref in frustration at been beaten again by meath in a game they should have won.
