Is there a championship table on the site cant seem to find one. Kilskyre and moylagh will be cracker of a game have a feeling a few reds will be dished out most likely to the moylagh lads here they are a rough crowd. Dantheman (Meath) - Posts: 101 - 06/07/2010 16:31:33 698435 Link 0 |

Moylagh were very unlucky not to get a victory last night, from what i saw of Ratoath i dont see how anyone can be tipping them to win it out, theyre fullforward line and freetakers are very poor and bottled it in the second half despite having lots of possession, an extra man and a strong wind advantage. Moylagh are definately back in contention and no team will look forward to playing them. I would be very interested to hear what Pim has to say about the sending off though!! Tones and Kilskyre have 4 points, Ratoath have 3 - with a game in hand, Moylough have 1 - with a game in hand...and boardsmill have 0 points.. InTheLoop (Meath) - Posts: 147 - 06/07/2010 16:59:52 698494 Link 0 |

Moylagh will go through if they beat b'mill and kilskyre which they can and i expect them to..they need ratoath to beat the tones which they will..that would leave moylagh on 5pts,kilskyre and the tones on 4pts CommonSense1 (Meath) - Posts: 28 - 06/07/2010 18:02:01 698603 Link 0 |

commonsense, you are letting your name down. I cant see how ratoath will qualify, they were abysmal against moylagh and if they bring that game v tones I can only see one winner. As per the round of draws, ratoath v tones and moylagh v boardsmill are next games, the last round is ratoath v boardsmill and moylagh v kilskyre. My call would be tones through by last round and then it will be between moylagh and kilskyre. Kilskyre to win that game. MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 07/07/2010 11:18:23 699077 Link 0 |

Has anyone got any results from the Junior 2 hurling at the weekend? It all seems pretty tight there, with Trim, Killyon, Na Fianna and Don Ash fighting it out in one group and Kells, Clann na Gael, Rathmolyon and Kilmessan gunning for the 2 semi final slots on the other side of the draw. Hoganstandboy, It is hard to call as I would imagine there will be some twists yet. Moylagh and Boardsmill........... MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 07/07/2010 17:08:40 699633 Link 0 |

moylough will not go through...ok yes they drew with ratoath but that was worst ratoath performance in championship in 2 years...kilskyre seem to be coming good so they will dispatch of moylough easily hoganstandboy19 (Meath) - Posts: 76 - 07/07/2010 17:34:00 699667 Link 0 |

Minorstar, trust me,Ratoath will beat wolfe tones..im sure of it..dont judge tones off the moylagh game because moylagh wer awful that nite and wer missin 3 important players from the other nite..ratoath easy.. CommonSense1 (Meath) - Posts: 28 - 07/07/2010 18:12:17 699718 Link 0 |

iamgod, so you are a tones man, good to know. I am being slightly hammered in here for my views but if you look at my previous posts I have said all along that ratoath were to be feared by all, but on their performance v moylagh I doubted it. I also wrote the very same about the tones. I can see a tough game for both sides when it is played but if it is any time soon it will be hard for ratoath to pick themselves up for it. That was some result for moylough on monday night... even if ratoath were short a few... moylough will beat boardsmill and depending on results a win against kilskyre wolud put them thru... i think ratoath will beat the tones. and kilskyre v moylough will be a tasty fixture. i think its a match that shouldnt be missed can see it being a savage battle.... 1984 (Meath) - Posts: 31 - 08/07/2010 20:50:47 700934 Link 0 |

Bewildered,junior2 hurling table group A is kells pld 4 have 6pts last game v/s longwood..clan na nGael pld 4 have 6pts last game v/s rathmolyon..rathmolyon pld 4 have 6pts and last game v/s clan na nGael..kilmessan pld 4 have 4pts and last game v/s dunderry..It looks like kells shud win their last game and reach the semi-final and its between clan na nGael and rathmolyon for the other semi-final spot. trap (Meath) - Posts: 175 - 09/07/2010 09:17:03 701032 Link 0 |

I cant believe the Ratoath game v tones is on tomorrow night. Just seen that now while looking at football fixtures for weekend. This is the game to decide all me thinks. Should be a good one. Any views. MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 12/07/2010 11:54:29 704806 Link 0 |

didnt go to ground minor star, just dont have the luxury of sitting and playing computer games all day like some. told ye all that moylagh were still in it. wasnt at the game, i dont go to many junior matches but on the sending off highwayman, i was talking to a couple of lads from kilskyre who were there and they reckon that it was harmless enough and even a yellow would have been harsh. seems he was only a young lad who got a bit of a rush of blood to the head but no malice!! pim (Meath) - Posts: 119 - 13/07/2010 21:31:52 707989 Link 0 |

was at the game last night, have to say tones deserved it and even despite 2 very soft goals against them they still won the match!! Pulled away in the second half and got many nice points...good game! Who goes through the group now? Royallad (Meath) - Posts: 3 - 14/07/2010 09:07:16 708077 Link 0 |

Royallad, Was at the game myself last night and I have to say it was a fantastic game to watch. Huge credit has to go to both the tones and ratoath for a pure hurling game. Not a dirty stroke pulled. The tones were well worth their victory in the end and to come back from a 6 point defecit to win the game was some stuff. The group looks like it will be down to either Moylagh or Kilskyre. If Moylagh beat Boardsmill they will have to win their last game. If Kilskyre win they top the group and in turn play Kiltale in semi and tones v dunboyne.
