trap, I must have been at a different game. The tones had a perfectly good goal ruled out, and should have been up by 7 points at half time as a result. They should have been awarded a dozen frees or more but the referee who I agree let the game flow refused to blow up for scandalous pulling. The tones beat moylagh well and if they played a team who also wanted to play hurling they would have showed more I have no doubt. MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 28/05/2010 14:22:33 660852 Link 0 |

tones do seem to be flying at the minute but if meath progress on in the championship will tones hold onto harrongton, meade and macken...ratoath were missing players that night in the league so the result will defintly be a lot closer in the championship..ratoath still have a good win in their first game of the championship and even though the league might not be going well for them they still have a lot to offer hoganstandboy19 (Meath) - Posts: 76 - 28/05/2010 14:53:30 660883 Link 0 |

From what I ahve seen in championship, the tones have had their full squad available and word is that they refused to play without them. If they can keep these guys they might have a chance, Looking at the match report for Tuesday, I see they all played including Donal Curtis who is county selector. He was some hurler in his day, obviously hasn't lost it.... MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 28/05/2010 16:12:52 660970 Link 0 |

Trap, give it up. The Tones tried to hurl and the Moylough tried to knock lumps out of them at every opportunity. You're way wide of the mark if you think Moylough are anywhere near a hurling outfit. BBD (Meath) - Posts: 228 - 28/05/2010 21:44:23 661262 Link 0 |

That game tonight will be interesting. I believe both teams were poor on their initial outing and both need a win tonight as Tones have 2 from 2 and Ratoath have 1 from 1 so they are playing catch up a bit. I would fancy Boardsmill to come out of this one, bit more hurling in them I feel. MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 03/06/2010 12:18:48 666412 Link 0 |

iamgod, is it not true that the majority of the teams in the junior championship are dog rough, bar the tones and kiltale. So would tonights game not be even between kilskyre and boardsmill then. Might head along to the game tonight, would you reckon the €5 entrance fee would be worth it? MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 03/06/2010 13:19:38 666516 Link 0 |
