hootervillain, Brian Sheridan pulled up with his hamstring injury while chasing after a Laois player on the terrace side of the field. The management should have made the decision to take him off immediately as it nearly cost us the win, whatever about the longer term damage he could do to it by trying to play on. if brian sheridan had a hamstring injury, he must have made an overnight recovery as he played with his club today in summerhill, must say he looked tired. SeanR0716 (Meath) - Posts: 65 - 21/03/2010 19:04:33 594156 Link 0 |

Sean were you at the Meath game last night? I'm only commenting on what I saw from the terraces. Brian Sheridan was tracking back when he pulled up holding the back of his leg. They had to get the physio on to treat him but he continued playing. It was obvious that he was still in some discomfort as he kicked a few wayward balls and he was limping heavily when the final whistle went. surprised to hear brian sheridan played today, he definately looked hampered after tracking back. Obviously not as bad as it looked last night. Just saying he wasnt moving well and it was a bad decision on the managements behalf not to replace him as it could have cost us the game. clubm (Meath) - Posts: 87 - 21/03/2010 20:10:37 594260 Link 0 |
