Meath team v Laois

hootervillain, Brian Sheridan pulled up with his hamstring injury while chasing after a Laois player on the terrace side of the field. The management should have made the decision to take him off immediately as it nearly cost us the win, whatever about the longer term damage he could do to it by trying to play on.

Overall I think Kenny, Lewis and McKeigue were best for Meath. Very disappointed with the crowd though. The stand wasn't even half full and the terraces were no better. Big difference between last night and the first game against Armagh. I dread to think of the numbers that will head up to Donegal next weekend. We need to break our away day hoodoo if we're going to have any chance of promotion.

if brian sheridan had a hamstring injury, he must have made an overnight recovery as he played with his club today in summerhill, must say he looked tired.

Sean were you at the Meath game last night? I'm only commenting on what I saw from the terraces. Brian Sheridan was tracking back when he pulled up holding the back of his leg. They had to get the physio on to treat him but he continued playing. It was obvious that he was still in some discomfort as he kicked a few wayward balls and he was limping heavily when the final whistle went.

Ratoathroyal is right

Brian Sheridan was following a laois player back & pulled up around midfield along the terrace side. Managment should have taken him off rather than risking it. Since that happened he was sluggish in his movement & his kicking!

surprised to hear brian sheridan played today, he definately looked hampered after tracking back. Obviously not as bad as it looked last night. Just saying he wasnt moving well and it was a bad decision on the managements behalf not to replace him as it could have cost us the game.
