Yes i would go with Queeny at full forward. As most counties know what Meath will do if Joe is in there but with Queeny you can go low or high.Joe can make some fine catches around the middle and if the marc stays Meath could do well in that department. 12Royal (Meath) - Posts: 987 - 08/03/2010 19:02:36 582461 Link 0 |

This is a great debate that I don't have a definitive answer for either. I think Joe would say his best position is full forward, and I would imagine no full back in the country would like to see him come in because they know they on't get a second's peace! I would like to see Queeney given another chance at CHF, I feel he got through an awful lot of work, especially tracking back but if we get him used to CHF he can also pop over a few scores. For Tipp this weekend I would leave it as is with Joe and Jamie. It's a great dilemma to be in updaroyal (Meath) - Posts: 1132 - 09/03/2010 08:51:47 582808 Link 0 |

A few people have said that joe should be there & that he showed that the other night & when he done nothing after the goal, it was due to the bad supply of ball, but for me, thats exactly the reason to have him at chf! Jinxie (Meath) - Posts: 6348 - 09/03/2010 10:28:02 582876 Link 0 |

Start joe on de forty with queeney inside with the 2 of them interchanging every 10/15 mins. This could cause the opposition FB different sorts of problems and work very much in our favour. moynalty08 (Meath) - Posts: 10 - 09/03/2010 18:34:15 583508 Link 0 |

I would prefer to see Joe Sheridan at full forward. This, in my opinion, is his most natural position and he can play as a target man while his scoring ability is second to none. royal_green (Meath) - Posts: 96 - 10/03/2010 09:59:19 583855 Link 0 |

royal_green - I'd have to disagree with you. Queeney is far more consistent at slotting points. Joe's strengths are his fielding, his passing and his ability to have a crack at a score. That said he is not the most clinical man to slot a point everytime he gets a chance. I refer to Saturday as a prime example. Joe is capable of scoring some incredible points but he also has a tendency to miss some easy ones. TheFlyingTeacup (Meath) - Posts: 286 - 10/03/2010 10:23:43 583873 Link 0 |
