New Meath jersey

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

just wondering what people think bout it, as far as i can make out its a new design aswell as sponser, imo not to happy bout it a lot of money spend last year by fans on the new jersey and again on the very popular yellow one towards end of the season. i still wear a kepak jersey so think im due a new so will prob get this new one but i do feel for people who spend 60 or 120euro on them last year. why not keep the shirt from last year and change sponser.

totally see your point with regards the jersey but what new sponsor wants a jersey designed for the previous sponsor?? its just unfortunate that we got a new one last year.

well im glad there getting a new jersey rather than just changing the sponsor as i wouldnt want to go out and spend another 60 quid on the same jersey i already have with a diff name on it

it is a bit of a kick in the b**ls alright only getting the 1 yr out of it but least we got a good wear out of it fo that yr

Whats wrong with wearing the same jersey as last year. If we wanted to look exactly like the players we'd all be donning a pair of tight shorts too and freezing our b**ls off up in the stand. I still squeeze into the jersey i bought back in 1987 and never have any problem with it!

Can't see myself buying the jersey for this year. Got the new yellow one last year and that will do me for a good few years yet. Good point by Green Mojo.

I went out and bought all 4 jerseys last year (green, yellow, blue keeper jersey, grey/white keeper jersey paddy wore against kerry). Its a bit dissapointing that they wont be used again this year, but ill still go out and buy the new one. I always do.

Last years jersey was the nicest in a few years.
Hopefully the new one will tempt me away from the 2001 yellow jersey

Rumour has it that the design will be very similar to the new Dublin jersey, O'Neills are rather keen on the retro look apparently as appears with the new Fermanagh jersey as well which is exceptionally plain.

Sure Selwyn now you have a great opportunity to increase your stamp (ahem) jersey collection.
