You were not that lucky Armaghgeddon, final score Orchard 2-17,Royals 0-16.Meath started only 7 players who commenced against the Dubs and Armagh at home got their two goals in the opening minutes.

Its only coming off hearsay fella. Still it will hopefully be a little confidence boost for Armagh going into their qualifier on Saturday.

Do you know who scored the goals?

Charlie Vernon scored one of the goals. Niall Mc Keigue at full back conceded two penalties.

cheers men_of_49, interesting aul selections!! particularly in the attacking half of the team, even more interesting that he kept with the same half forward and full forward line in each game. also interesting that brian sheridan was at 6 for each game. i wonder will the team for sat look something similar??

I would expect Farrell and Cian Ward definitely to come into the forwards, as well as MacAnarney possibly. B Sheridan at centre back is interesting, playing well around the middle for Senescahlstown by all accounts but I would still prefer to see him closer to the opposing goals, maybe with Moyles dropping back to CHB. Should win Saturday no matter who we put out. I'll be there, many HS posters going to go?

Why Jinxie did you respond to an_mhi with the following "I cant remember the team" when the question "do you happen to know the team auldfella??" had been directed at AuldFella. Did you forget who you were logged on as Jinxie and not AuldFella when you posted.

He did it because he understands that another poster requested some information that he had. Not that a Louthman would understand that concept

squid, i asked a question, granted it was addressed to auldfella, but that doesnt mean hes the only one that can answer, jinxie was on this thread a few days ago looking for the same info that i was, he found it and was kind enough to tell everyone that wanted to know where to find it, the only reason i addressed it to auldfella was because he seemed to know the most about it. i cant understand why a so called louth man is so interested in a meath v armagh challenge match thread!!

Well said an_mhi.

Best I can answer that query for ya as to why squidless is so interested in the thread.

Remember 02, when Armagh won the AI, sure didnt even Louth man adopt the count as their own then, mainly because they knew it was as close to winning something as they would ever get themselves.

1 All Ireland in 125 years, & they needed Meath players to win it for them.

He's quite the fool too, he gives out about other people answers questions they werent asked, yet his past-time is butting into threads that he's not wanted on here.
