Donaghmore Ash match reports

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Donaghmore - you are not the only team in the county full of young players, usual Donaghmore arrogance presuming that just because you are a young team you will go on and win a senior title, from what iv seen some of them young players are not good enough - and i know that this is an old fashioned statement but alot of them lads are way to small for senior football in meath (Even if they grow alot more over the next few years)

This is actually getting funny now. Most Senior/Intermediate teams have players who, if they were a chocolate bar would eat themselves. It's standard practice. You'll also have a couple of fans who believe their players own hype. So saying D/A are arrogant is a bit of a leap, but you're entitled to your opinion, be it a bit silly.

As maximus touched on, PR is built around relaying good news about your organisation, and promoting it based on that good news. The unwritten rule is that the winning team send the report in, which in the main is a good rule to follow.

D/A have a young team, and most people in the club think the team could challenge in the next 3-4 years, with a bit of luck along way. If you don't think you can win it then what is the point in competing?

Most of the negativity on this tread is based on drawing conclusions from various unreliable sources, and no doubt someone will find a way of lambasting this post, and claiming D/A have a cunning plan to take over the County Board and reduce the SFC to one team, D/A. That being said, we are extremely happy with our PRO's from all codes, and look forward to seeing reports on all the glory that will follow! ;-)

WHYNOT you must be from curagha or ratoath with that amount of begrudgery, jealousy will get you nowhere so concentrate on your own club achievements and youth structures, or have you lost players to a big club like D/A????????????????

Well at least Don-Ash make the effort. There are many other clubs with a lot less teams than them who just couldn't be bothered. Two pro's is unusual so they are doing their best to cover the suituation. As a suggestion and as everybody has a computer nowadays, team mentors could send details to the PRO's after each game. After all these are the people with the best knowledge of what happened and then the PRO's could officially post the info.

pathetic thread! while i thought whynot's first few posts were making points he's since gone on to show a dislike for the club in discussion with later posts, there-fore this thread is obviously jsut a dig at don/ash. there seems to be lads from with in the club making silly postd too in reply.

there are many clubs in the county who only post reports occasionally and some who don't submit reports at all. its the choice of the club and really doesn't make a difference to anybody outside that club. end of.

ROYALSON, we are not sore about eoin carroll leaving the curragha if he wanted to leave it was his loss and the best of luck to him. We have nothing to be jealous of either.

well 'whynot' WHY NOT? You would most probably be one of the first lads on here giving out that teams don't send in match reports

For all you know Don/Ash could send in losing reports as well and they may not be published or Pats could have sent in one that wasn't published

at least they are making the effort!

WHYNOT does your club send in match reports when you win or lose or do you have a club at all, if so let us and we can monitor your match reports.

the match report from your last league game against St.Pats was very indepth, im just wondering was there any reason you failed to post a match report for the Championship match against St. Pats.

Just slightly curious as to the reason.

Currahaspy, the fact that you are constantly defending Ashbourne would lead me to believe that you are not actually from Curraha, in fact im sure of it, also you are always very quick to back up maximus, im reading between the lines!!

WHYNOT its good that you can read between the lines now try to read the line that you are constantly putting down teams such as Donaghmore/ash when you have clearly proven that you have no club when you were asked it seems likely that you are only the site to cause trouble. I am a curragha man who is proud of my club and i am just wondering did you play with D/A and got dropped???

Whynot et al the result of this thread will be the don/ash PRO reading it and not sending in any match reports at all. If every club sent in as many match reports as he/she does the site would be much more interesting
Anyway its not just don/ash that only send it winning reports

Keep up the good work PRO's

Lads, this is a sad dispute at this stage. Whynot is clearly grom Duleek/Bellewstown judging from his earlier posts
