2008 was a write off for Owens because of injury, i am still of the opinion that when fully fit there is no better full back playing at present.

When he was fully fit Owens was the best no. 3 about for me. But it's a long time since he's played there and whos to say he'll be back to his best when he's fully fit again? Personally I hope he will as he's been through so much and is incredibly strong in character, he'll certainly give it his all.

At the minute the best are Canty and McMahon, but young Justy needs to prove he wasn't a one-season wonder.

It always baffles me how Graham Canty is regarded so highly as a full back. There was a strong performance in the International Rules against Barry Hall a few years ago admittedly, but I can't inderstand how he is rated so highly. Seanie Johnston kicked 6/7 points off him last year in the league for example. He looks more like a centre half back to me.

Think Graham Canty is a great player. Mickey Harte was quoted as saying that if there was a transfer market in football he would be the first player he would buy. However, I think Cork play better when he is half back line or midfield.

Id give it to Canty due to his inspirational rallying ability..but Finian Hanley was the full back of 08 for me! Ross McConnell is way of the pace there im afraid Enrico.
