Just spotted him coming out of the valley eating a curry chips, looked like he had a battered sossage in a bag too but that has yet to be confirmed. He also had a copy of the Meath Chronical under his arm. He was overheard asking what night club all the Sens'town lad hang out in.....

Is this the most open meath menager contention ever? Its going to be announced on Monday and this could be the biggest decision the county board will ever make i feel?

Any word yet?
Luke dempsey seems to have re-immerged in certain circles.
May be an outsider might not be such a bad thing...

Another mess-up by the Meath county board. This Monday, no next monday, whatabout we wait and see if Alex Ferguson will take it over? The Meath couty board should have set a date and stuck to it like Cavan did.

Re: frankthetank.
Frank if Eamonn Barry was going to be the next manager why would you wait so long in announcing it??? Blackhall are out of the championship and out of the running for the feis cup and league. and u cant forget the past. He did a bad job, end of story. It would be a huge backward step if he was appointed manger...

I cant see Barry or O' Brien being the next manager. If either was the preferred candidate surely they could have been appointed before the 13th as their club sides are out of the championship.

I heard a rumour that the announcement was being put off until after the county final because of Sean Kelly's involvement with NOM and that the county board want him as a selector with O' Brien. Is there any truth in this?
