I cant believe this thread is still going. This was a thread on Ballinagh v Cavan Gales. The history books will state Ballinagh are 2013 Cavan Senior Champions. End of story. They deserved the right to represent our county in Ulster and did represent us very well and gave everything they had. There will always be begrudgers to the winning team and begrudgers against Cavan Gales. I have to say the Cavan Gales players were gracious in their defeat and plaudits to them for it. Please close this thread because anymore talk of a non club in the ulster club championship is pie in the sky fairytale stuff and lets get on with supporting OUR county as we kick on in the McKenna cup in January!!!!

I see that Glenswillie have got beat in the Ulster final and I am wondering if the strongest team in Cavan for the past 10 years ie Cavan Gaels were in it would we have beaten them,
Cavan Gaels while our run in Ulster has been disappointing would no doubt have delivered today.
I feel a lost opportunity for Cavan football, but again well done to Ballinagh on County final Day youse were ahead on the score board at the end of the game and as the rule stands youse had to represent us in Ulster

I have replied to you as to why I got out of bed this am , but due to circumstances beyond my control my reply was not printed.
But Ulster 40 I have been a vociferous advocate for all things good in Cavan football, where I speak my mind and should I observe an injustice I will highlight it.
Case in point where I feel that Cavan Gaels are incorrect in now taking all the players who wish to transfer to them to further the 10 championships that this fine team has won in the past 12 years.
I have to ask the question are/have some of these players being lost to the Gaa clubs and County??
It is a question that will raise a lot of discussion.
Also Ulster 40 where players are concerned that I feel have not been discovered for a County panel ( and I will name one of my own finds the one and only David) I will highlight what I feel is that players great aptitudes and I have been found right sofar on all occasions.
That Ulster 40 is a brief summary of my expertise
