Why he did nothing until Mackey was exhausted he wasted a lot of chances scored a couple of important points ok but why should Mr Hyland consider him he took the option to move to Kildare and he could not get starting with the first 15 so not good enough??? so why should he be good enough for Cavan. Did he play against Ballinagh I think he did well he was on the team list ??? I am sure Mr Hyland will decide in his own time ???????? bad enough taking two steps back all ready but two more do Cavan need this disruption having established what most of you say an established team ?????
Sean a game is played over sixty min plus and time added on. Mackey not been able to last the game was nothing to do with Johnston scoring nearly double his Mackeys return. When the Gaels made the same changes again this week that they made against Ramor they Castlerahan could keep up with them. chesty is a center back not forward. When Lyng came out on the forty tthe Gaels moved up a gear. You are right Enda Flanagan was sent off.

Stevieoo don't know what that's meant to mean. Gaels still are a top team but not the only show in town anymore. As for players missing it's unfair to say only the Gaels were. Castlerahan were missing Enda O Connell, Enda Flanagan, Sean Brady and of course Ronan Flanagan who I wish all the best and hopefully we see back soon enough.

The question that needs to be asked is why are the Gaels players not available for the League final or why are they not performing? They have my far an away the best panel of players in the county but egos seem to prevent any manager getting anywhere with them. They removed a great clubman in Joe O Connor and still the players wont tog out!

Not sure I would agree with your post. Every club have great clubmen don't forget that.
The situation right now is they have three managers well four for Joe has not gone until it has been ratified.
I will say this again I am not a gaels supporter.
I will say however they have quality players all over the panel and potential and I say they are right now the best senior team in the county. I have stated this before and I will state it again. Get rid of all the baggage the sooner the gaels do this the better this includes players committee members parents that keep barking their son or nephew ect the sooner they will be back winning county titles and even Ulster titles.
Now I am just using myself as an example once again I would first off remover all the stats men and parcel the communications contact during every match and make my own decisions as to whom is playing good or bad. If I could not see this from the sideline I would go to the stand if there was one available. I would manage the teams the way they should be managed with respect communication between players and me not through a third party. I would select a panel of 28 senior players and a panel of 28 Intermediate players with the door open to players being moved from senior to intermediate or vise a versa. I would not destroy players chances of wining an intermediate title by closing the door on them playing them just for the sake of playing them in a senior match. The Gaels have the players they just need two good men to run the show their way that is a manager who does not have to be a coach plus a very good trainer. I can see moral is low but it would not take much to revert that mood.
Congratulations to Castlerahan and a speedy recovery to my friend Ronan.

You seem to have a reading problem so if you don't mind I did not make any assumptions towards any of the player's you will find this was done by a third party not I.
Yes I do know a lot about the gaels I live in Cavan Town as you know and I get on very well with many of the gaels players and some non players.

Great for Mackey to have a medal after a long tough year. It was a while coming but Castlerahan finally got some silverware at Senior, won 21 titles a few years agao, and probaly would have made it 3 in a row, if they weren't without flanagan and Mackey for a quarter finl game.
Hopefully League finals will be wrapped up long before December next year.

Yes check the Guinness book of records. 1 u21 title, were thrown out of the competition one year after beating Commore in the quarter finals, over an 'ineligble player' more then likely would have won it that year,05 Sean Brady etc, along with Mackey, Flanagan from Minor. Won it in 07, 08 were without key players in the quater finals agiant ballinagh.
