yea, it's a bit harsh having both games on at the same time as the Down,Donegal game..would have made more sense to play the club's games one after the other

Great draw for Castlerahan yesterday .Missing a lot of players 9 in total but showed great fight .Seven to two down at ht and went 1 up with time almost up.Keep it up lads.How come this was the only div 1a game played.When are the others being played and will they be missing their county players aswell .Both teams yesterday hadn't theirs.

Castlerahen minus 8 players put in a brilliant spirited performance who's second half performance was unlucky not to come away with the win! Ramor just didn't seem up to the game at all, only reason I can think of is that a number of the players played junior B game Vs Denn last friday night and the fact they were missing 5 players but I don't want to take away from a good castlerahen performance.. This fixture could easily be the one in championship semi or final!

So, no League games yet again this weekend. I know Cavan are playing and on a good run, but surely some clubs can play and others play without their County players. The plan was to have all League games run out before the Championship starts and that surely won't be the case now. Same story every year, nothing every changes with the County Board.

I have heard that Cornafean have been relageted to the basement division for next year and that Cavan Gaels and Mountugent will fight out the other spot, considering the variety of teams that The Gaels put out during the year it is likely that Mountnugent may go down if Cavan Gaels put out anything near their best including several players with County expierence at all levels (Minor Under 21 and Senior)
