Fair play to Lavey.I had them tipped to go down this year.Did they not loose a lot of players to emigration, how are they managing to keep it going. This is a very important year in the league,Killygarry,Redhills,Ballyhaise,Drumgoon,Drumalee, look like they have a fight on their hands along with 2 others to avoid the drop to div 2.Leads to a very interesting league. kinglarry (Cavan) - Posts: 189 - 19/04/2012 13:16:07 1155821 Link 0 |
After getting hockeyed by a Ramor team that have only won 1 in 3 it looks like Redhills are in deep trouble and have a mountain to climb. It seems unlikely that Kingscourt experience won't see them stay up in the end. I can't see Drumgoon surviving and Ballyhaise are unlikely to stay up..but it's early days yet !! prittstick (Cavan) - Posts: 43 - 19/04/2012 17:17:24 1156064 Link 0 |

Does anyone know what the story is with league games this week, are they going ahead on Wednesday night or what? Disaster if so, lads working in Dublin and wherever won't get down in time! Champion2011 (Cavan) - Posts: 230 - 23/04/2012 14:41:06 1158246 Link 0 |

Yes all matched are going ahead as far as i know, the weather isn't as bad in Cavan as other parts of the country. I think it's gonna be Wednesday - Sunday fixtures for the next 2-3 weeks! Champion2011 (Cavan) - Posts: 230 - 25/04/2012 16:56:12 1159977 Link 0 |

Another good win for Lavey, looks like they could be a force this season, good win for the cucu's as well, the Gales always seem to have trouble when they come up against them. SlipperyFish (Cavan) - Posts: 196 - 26/04/2012 12:52:28 1160404 Link 0 |
I think Lavey have lost a few more than mentioned above, Sean Maguire and Trucker....their midfield from 2 years ago when they won the intermediate and a few other lads that would that have been in and out of the team, but i suppose every team has lost players due to emigration, just a matter of getting on with what you've got. Its a long year yet so we'll see how it goes for all the teams, things can change very easily. SofaKing (Cork) - Posts: 11 - 27/04/2012 08:09:00 1161025 Link 0 |
