I was at the Castlerahan V Mullahoran game at the weekend Castlerahan put out a poor team Mackey,Brady,Flanagan not playing few more aswel but them 3 would be a lose to any team,,the 2 league games Mullahoran have played this week could help the likes or Enda O'Reilly and Raymond lynch only back from America both games should be good next week.

I think that If Any of the team that are above the top 9 win the championship the the 9th placed team is safe, if Lacken win the intermediate then the 10th placed team is safe. given that Ramour and Drumgoon have equal points and Gowna are a point further behind and Gowna Play drumgoon then the winners of Gowna/Drumgoon will be safe and If ramor win their final game they will be safe and may already be safe. Simples

however If Killygarry and Crosserlough win the senior and Intermediate championships the down go Gowna drumgoon and Ramor if one of them win their championship the two of the three mentioned go down, to further simplify things or as the man said it's all to play for

Think it was yea, if ye look at one of the previous posters earlier today on another thread, Stevieoo said 'Cavan Gaels had Lacken for breakfast this morning', so one should think it was a 9.30am throw-in.

Drumgoon 2-10 Gowna 2-10.
Finished a draw in O Boyle Park but in reality drumgoon were the better team & deserved the win. Gowna's full forward missed a guilt edge opportunity for the opening score off the game after a high ball in beat the defence & having rounded the keeper his shot was cleared off the line & the danger averted. Drumgoon hit the front then & raced into a 4 to 1 lead with some good points. Half time it was 5 points to 4 in favour of the home side. Gowna keeping in touch mainly with frees.
Gowna came out at half time looking fairly flat when you would expect them to be fired up for this 2nd half. It showed too in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half. A bad kick out from Fergal Harten was won by fannin who switched te play to Jim McNally who had a shot for a point, this however dropped short & the drumgoon forward nipped in front of the veteran defender & flicked to the net. Big blow to Gowna's chances who could not get out of their half at this stage & worse was to follow. Another good move down the right flank resulted with the pointed effort cannoning off the upright & moynagh was quickest to react, a quick dummy & a toe poke from a tight angle hit the onion bag. Two goals in the space of 3 minutes. Uphill battle now for the Loch Gowna men. But as always they keep plugging away. A long ball into the drumgoon defence caused panic & Martin Brady pointed to the spot which was converted by Gowna's nr 15 low to the keepers left. Game on. The crowd in the stand were becoming more vocal as i had anticipated before my journey to this game. Ryder cup v O Boyle park cauldron, the latter on this occassion. Another poor kick out from Gowna resulted in a good score for drumgoons nr 11. McKeever & Niall Madden hit two great scores from 40 yards out. The lead was now down to 3 points. Enter big dermot mccabe with 5 mins left. He was not on the field 30 seconds when a cross field ball from the right hand side was hit into the square & you guessed it, he flicks it to the net. Draw game. Drumgoon now dropped moynagh back to double mark the cavan veteran. It was end to end now at this stage, with alot of passes getting intercepted. Both sides had chances. The ref blows it up 5 minutes into injury time. Who survives i'm not sure
