David Givney

Must say i never heard such drivel in all my life tomsmith. Look at Declan O'Sullivan in Kerry, Noel O'Leary in Cork and countless more all over the country. They all play for junior clubs. Let David raise Mountnugent up the grades and emulate the likes of Tom Lynch and the great Mick Higgins not to mention Declan Coyle and Mick Caffrey. He is well on his way and I feel he could be the new Stephen King. Things are not all doom and gloom in the old county, and with a bit of luck these young lads might bring a bit of pride back to the hills of Breffni.

1094596 David Givney should be thankfull that his talents had been noted and exposed on Hoganstand long before he burst on the scene.
It was well flagged by me that Givney had the ability to lead Cavan and that he done with pride yesterday.
His display wearing the Cavan jersey was nothing short of outstanding.
I feel that he stood out and that is what we want good honest to god footballers.

Breffni Dub Tomsmith here , it is with regret that you describle my post as dribble . Each and every one to its own views. For your information I again attached my opening remarks in relation to Davids performance aginst Donegal. I feel that we have had took much negative stuff about Cavan football.
David performance that day against Donegal was fantastic and for someone of your standing to describle it otherwise is away out of order. Tomsmith
