I think posters should lay off Seanie over the next few days for reasons that will become clearer over the next day or so.

you should all have done that from day one but you have made it near impossible for Val Andrews ti bring him back despite telling all the door was not shut.

I still think if the attitude is right and he is training as they say he is I am sure common sense will prevail BUT that is up to one person and that person is not Seannie Johston its up to Val Andrews unless off course someone else intervenes which I hope does not happen for we will be brought down a terrible journey, Please read between my lines and don't ask questions. Sean

im just hoping val tells him that hes included for the league ,lets face it we cant afford to loose a player like sean ,i think he will mix well with the young lads ,if we want to have any sort of run in the summer we will need him and thats the truth of the matter .

think sean has burned his bridges with andrew's (or maybe the other way around..) if he had've kept quiet and got on with it, there might be a chance of a return, not so sure now. I'd rather have Miller back anyway

Yet another post suggesting something secret about to happen or going on behind the scenes. Were you a member of the K.G.B. or Mossad Seanoroinn ?

Looks like the Gaels are standing aside.

GAA: Johnston To Join St Kevin's
It seems that the Will He/Won't He is finally at an end for Seanie Johnston, after he cleared the way to play for Kildare this season by submitting a club transfer from his home club, Cavan Gaels, yesterday evening.

Kildare manager, Kieran McGeeney confirmed to Kfm Sport that the 27-year-old will join St Kevin's. The progressive Staplestown club ply their trade in the Senior ranks since winning the Intermediate Championship in 2008.

Johnston was recently told by Cavan manager, Val Andrews that he was not required for the coming season. The forward then lost his case for a transfer with the GAA's Central Appeals Committee last week, but with his club agreeing - albeit reluctantly - to the transfer, Kildare fans can expect to see Johnston in the Lilywhite colours soon.

However, speaking exclusively to Kfm Sport last Thursday, Kieran McGeeney stated that while he would welcome Johnston, he would have to prove himself like everyone else.

Its a sad day for football when even our best players do not understand what the management is doing and have to leave because they asked !!

Well Seanie is not the first player in the Country to change club and County. Loads of players have made the switch.

At least he is going to a county that that want him and will appreciate his skill and talent. We in Cavan seemingly dont.

What happens if he does not make the Kildare team what happens then. This was a rash move by Seannie and I am disappointed he has taken this option. His ability as a player was never in question.

I wish him the best of luck and I hope he does not regret it.

Dont worry he will make the kildare team no problem whatsoever. We in Cavan must be blessed with forwards. We won an U21 title last year got hammered by a Galway under 21 team that are now ready to bring 37yr old Pauric Joyce back.

And there is us giving our best forward away!! Who said Cavan ppl were mean?? We just give Kildare our best forward!!
