Seanie played 35 SECONDS of a hurling match clearing the way for him to play for kildare tomorrow.. If there is loopholes in the system why not expose them. And he did just that. Fair play to him and the best of luck

Hurler40 I think you will find he is not a Cavan footballer now let alone a Cavan hurler, have you missed what the last 6 months were about

Just wondering out of quriosity can anyone tell me when Seanie last played in Croke Park? I know he is a top class footballer but does any of the Cavan people think he will feel under pressure tomorrow, or will he take it in his stride, given that everyone in the country is laughing at him and Kildare. The spotlight will be on him anyway.

I'd say he will be fine in Croke Park, regardless anyway Kildare shouldn't have much problem beating Meath with a good bit to spare.

And to think we could have built our hurling team around him rather than doing away with it. Is he still eligable to hurl with Cavan if we ever get our team back? Someone should make representations, we cant let this hurling talent slip away. We need everyone on board!!!!

Emotive language is easy to use. What's disgraceful about it? He had to play club championship to be eligible for Kildare. The hurling club was happy to give him the chance to do so. If it was my club, I wouldn't have agreed to starting him myself. But it wasn't my club, it was their decision. It was less than a minute, it had no impact on them and they won the game. It is no more disgraceful than paying a manager at county or club level. And lo and behold, that didn't kill the volunteer. The world has changed but the GAA, while having to adapt, will always live on. It's elite sport now at that level. Anyway, loads of people against it but I'm sure they'll get over it

Richiej ?

Johnston déanta ag magadh iomlán ar an gaa agus ní chóir go mbeadh sé tacaíocht ar a bhfuil déanta aige. Súil agam go bhfuil sibh ar an tacaíocht an Chabháin ach amháin go bhfuil tacaíocht aige go mbeadh sé go bhfuil tú salach duit féin ar bhonn rialta. Tá sé úsáid as gach bealach is féidir a fháil ar an gcóras.
an Chabháin go deo.

Folks

After the events of yesterday can we now put this issue to bed as he is presently not a Cavan.

Good luck to the boys in Brewster, our true home ground, today. Hopefully we will see the start of the upswing in the counties fortunes. Defeat today would be a real set back but I for one don't see it happening.

No Leinster medal for Seanie!, he backed the wrong horse. Now if Kildare draw Cavan in the qualifiers.......................

Maybe we can have him back for the hurling!!!
