Informed account of events???? or they your details of what happened or you just repeating the Cavan Reporter who was interviewed on RTE Radio last night.

Is it just coincidence that your 16 posts on hoganstand have have only appeared because of the Seanie Johnston saga???

Its funny how so many new posters suddenly appeared here since all the Seanie stuff blew up??

Makes ya wonder!! Still begrudgery is not dead in Cavan it seems. Posters so worried about him moving club.. Are these the same posters who slate the Gaels week in week out?? Why worry then!!


Here's a sure case of the pot calling the kettle black,on another GAA forum Richiej has over 70 posts and all bar about 4 or 5 of them are on the Seanie saga,the Gaels or vilifying Val Andrews , all posted since September.

Sean johnson is a class forward no doubt about that but the cavan team will still be going long after himself. no player is bigger than the county. i say best of luck to him but it can never feel the same playing for another county. I say give these young lads a chance to prove themselves. one thing ill say for seanie it must have been a difficult decision to make and took alot of guts considering he lives in cavan town.

In fact it fails to answer how and why this was done or that it was done in a 10 second phone call !! I still want to know why it was done this way to a great servant of Cavan football and the reasons behind it !!
If the same was done to young Givney or Mc Kiernan would we be happy with it ? It needs to be explained in my opinion !!

why don't you ask Sean himself I am sure he will give you the full details and once he does that you can let us all know it could make good reading.
Its over he is moving and if he had set about things right he would be back in the blue and white not sure if he will make the lilly whites however but if he does good luck to him.

the cavan county board are meeting monday to discuss the issue? if they do object which is what is been expressed here..does it make a difference to the transfer? am i right in thinking that croke park can pass the transfer ahead anyway even if cavan CB do object on the grounds that seanie is 'now' living in kildare and requested for a club in kildare???or what happens then..

You gotta feel sorry for Sean Johnston.
His emotions and desire to play on a team challenging for an all-Ireland has been played on by someone in Kildare and this was a rumor before the infamous Andrews phone call (tho no specific name had been mentioned)
That SOMEONE! And negative comments from Cavan supporters and posters on here, about both Sean and Andrews has eventually put the lad in a corner with only one way to go.
