And ive never seen anything wrong with the attitude of any of the 4 in question.
SEAN......The bottom line is we need forwards who can score from 20 metres under pressure and from frees. We need experience, mixed with a blend of youth and inexperience.. Show me the experience in tomorrows forwardline when you know it.

I have sheva7 and its like a cancer you don't want it. Now of those that have followed Cavan as I have it is a well know fact the more experienced players do come back for the league so please stop going on about who is not there right now the door is open to them as has been stated by Val Andrews.

great to see a win it can do nothing but good plenty of good things happened today plus a few negatives as well but I am sure management will have taken some good feelings away with them. Midfield were outstanding just looking at young smith he worked again from deep and did very well so maybe Val sees something for him in that roll, great to see players working hard for the ball this is a huge change from the last few years passion passion passion roll on the good day's

As you said your self Sean during the week in your posts that the McKenna cup is nothing to get excited about especially against a team like Donegal who had very very few regulars on view. But a wins a win . Good performance from midfield . Backs suspect as usual. Early days but good to see a bit of spirit at last.

two maybe three positives from the back line BUT we have to really get this area sorted before the league I am sure they will, sadly I as you know and most of us don't like naming players but if you were at the match today you could see for yourself. Moral good however so thats a plus.

Yes Mckenna cup this year for Cavan must not be a distraction promotion is a must to Division2 then maybe we can think of other distractions

Well there is still the 14 wides to consider again this week. That's 2 weeks running. Still room for nesty, Seanie, Kung, Mackey on that forward line panel.

Well one of the four you mentioned has shown his intentions so why mention him.

Its a learning curve there were a lot of positives today and if they won by 20 points you would still have issues with the forwards.

have to say pleased to see the young boys playing well ,and niall smith will be great for cavan ,his running and movement off the ball caused the donegal defenders all sorts of problems,mc keever looked fast and attack minded when he came on ,it looks promising going forward that we have something to build on ,our midfield were in charge through the whole game with mc keirnan tireing out a bit before givney ,but still a good pairing .all in all well done to everyone involved ,still like to see johnston back for the league .

good result all round. think our half back line is our strongest line, they are doing well. Midfield partnership could blossom into a prolific one! all signs point to up, but far from the finished article.

Sean, is there no link for this article your talking about, would like to read it.
