so there is no panel, but yet there are people who have been told they are not on the panel. so can we all assume that if we havent got a phone call from the management that we are on the panel. the only people definitely not going to play for Cavan next year are Johnston,lyng,sheridan,mackey,J reilly and nesty. everyone else is in with a shout.

you read that six were axed on this forum you can see it on the home page but remember I said they are picking at straws for they have got it wrong. Yes people appear to be dropped but I am not sure there is a panel yet its just my opinion and if as they say on here 6 plus a Drung man are walking this week well deffo no panel then don't you think.

It's tome clubs had a good meeting about this stand alone manager thing before Convention. Andrews hasn't been ratified as a stand alone manager only as joint manager so that's the first bit of business Convention need to sort. Then if Val gets the majority vote to manage alone we can all get behind him. If he doesn't get the majority as a stand alone well then he will either have to share with Hyland as was originaly elected to do or step down. The latter would suit just fine. So lads , lobby your club. Bring the motion to convention that the stand alone manager has to be ratified. Let's see if it gets passed . And see what happens after that. That's the fairest way!

They've obviusoly decided to oust the supposed trouble makers so they dont 'turn' the last crop of U-21's and minors coming through. IMO its a terrible decision by the managment. SJ and Miller would make any county team in the country.. We don't have a hope of replacing either of these players, not to mention Gareth Smith or whats-his-face from Bally'duff
