Yes i assume so seanorinn, but from the storys i am hearing some havent been training and perhaps it was a disciplinary issue with them? However if the point forde has been trying to prove with these players has got through to them they will play, if not....
Anyway i expect the gaels to win this anyway, it will be tight in the opening exchanges but they will pull away.
galoping gazele , 02/08/2011 at 11:14

I heard that as well??
Can you imagine how many fines the County Board will get when he becomes part of the setup. The carry on at half time does no good for the game if anything it incites reaction from players and supporters a like. Brings you back to last year when the Gaels had their senior Ulster match won only for 100% ill discipline by the very same person and the reaction from others was a domino effect.
Will people ever learn remonstrating with officials is not on and needs to be address sooner rather than later. This just does not apply to this person but to a substantial amount from all over the county if not country.

1001434 Went on points difference last year anyhow. Presume its the same this year again although i wonder are clubs actually notified of these rules prior to the championship commences.
Spitting ?? Certainly no place for that in the game.
Heard a lavey player was lucky not to see red on friday evening

Extrapolate please.

I was at that game, didn't notice any carry on at half time. What happened?
Agree with galoping gazelle, Gaels will never play as badly again, and Ramor won't have benefitted from their Lacken game, was too easy.
They will win mid-field but need to make a few positional switches in full back and forward line.
Mullahoran look very hungry this year too,, Eddie Reilly is in good scoring form, so themselves and Ballinagh should be there or there abouts.

seanorinn,
I wouldn't ask if I had seen what went on, would I? Got a phone call just before half time, left the stand to deal with that, went to the toilet, no coffee. So I'll ask again-what happened? Must not have been much, nobody mentioned it when I came back. They were just wondering if the ref was going to be able to control the second half.

niall mc dermott was very impressive on sun.good man to hold onto a ball and take on his man.terry smith was also very good, not for the first time ive been impressed by him.declan beard also picked up a world of ball and the team in general worked really hard and honestly throughout.
what about ruairi brennan, was a very good footballer at underage levels but havent seen him play for a long time untill sunday

I find it hard to believe but was Johnston being rested (until he had to come on) to play against Ballyhaise the next day, if so Gaels' priorities are ALL wrong and no wonder they were found out, I genuinely heard this, anyone hear the same? (Gaelsman in exile)

Got my nose broke, got a black eye, got stamped on, got a cracked rib and got concussed, all from dirty play. These I laugh about; however I will never forget the player who spat in my face. That's a different category of person ...

People who play expect to get some injuries and some of these are as Con said, from dirty play
I would have no respect for someone who spits nor would I have respect for those who accuse in the wrong( not Con I hasten to add)

jesus Con you were unlucky. what was it about you that produced such behaviour in the opposition. the only abuse I got were a few verbals and a few thumps. however if someone spat at me I would have lost the rag altogether.

I have not accused ochonlir but judging by your post you have doubts about what I have said. I expect it should be on video should anyone want to see, but will anyone want to find the person.
I was not the only person that saw what was done so I hope at least that the club will take action for its not his first time doing so I hear.
My own views on this are life time ban from your club let him move on for he is not wanted, if that is harsh 48 weeks min. Others will think twice about it the next time when they know the clubs rules on this issue. [ This is a huge health and safety issue these day's anyway]

Well what a shame, I note you say most player's not all so it's possible then is this what you are saying. I am not in the habit of telling lies but really I don't care if you believe me.
Its true 100% true and if I am asked by the powers that be I will name the player as well and I will not do it behind his back.
I am sure they know about it anyway???
