Belturbet had an easy win over Castlerahan. Shame to see how far back this Castlerahan team have gone back in two years. From a team with huge potential to just another senior team going through the motions. They need to really look at their set up. Belturbet are a nice team and had a few players stand out last night man of the match had to be Brendan Fitzpatrick.

was at the Castlerahan game, and fair enough Beturbet were the hungrier team, and fully deserved their win, however ref did not help and awarded frees for absolutely minimal things... Management too slow to change things for Castlerahan, but overall better team won.. Fitzpatrick kicked 2.05..

I don't rate this ref normally but he had a good game and I think he did a good job overall. I totally agree about your comment regarding the management being to slow to make changes, they left players on that pitch last night who have completely lost how to play our beautiful game of football or have they lost the passion???????.

I spoke with one of the Castlerahan mentors last night and he said they were missing 9 regulars, I am not sure if this is true but thats his story.

sean i say that 9 is from the team of 2 years ago. emigration has taking its toll and you would easily see that on the pitch
