Castlerahan will not win the Championship it's as simple as that. Cavan Geals will have learnt their lesson from last year's loss to Kingscourt, and will win the Senior Championship Final by 8+ points. It's really as simple as that im afraid!

totally agree.. what happened to the gaels last year us very unfortunate for castlerahan

I dont think the people of cavan begrdge cavan gaels anymore on there success, they proves yestarday that they are a professinal outfit who play football.i think they are finally getting the respect from the people of cavan.90% of the people in the stand yestarday were there to cheer the gaels on.i think ballinagh have become the most hated club in the county.

They've been the most hated club in the county for quite a while now.

Its good to see a new Team like Castlerahan getting t a final. Also it was good for teams like Ballinagh and Belturbet to get to semis..
4/5 Years ago Ballinagh had that great sucess in Intermediate Grade so its shows they are going on the right lines.
But love them or hate them the GAELS are the benchmark. Probally the most successfull Club of recent times when you add up their underage success and their Senior success.I for one dont think they get the credit they deserve from within the county.
Its only natural that ppl want a successfull club beaten but really they do deserve the highest respect as a club for their achievements this past 11/12 years in all grades.
Thats the kind of level all clubs should be trying to reach.. It takes time.. The gaels had very barren years from the late 70s until 11/12 years ago but their perseverence with their underage structures finaly paid off.
It should be a good final..The Gaels have something to prove to themselves after last year.
Castlerahan hammered the Gaels in an U21 Final a few years back and will not lack confidence either..
May we see a good footballing Match with maybe a few new players on view that could step up to the County set up..

I REALLY DONT THINK THEY ARE BOTHERED WHETHER THEY ARE HATED OR NOT. THEY ARE A GREAT CLUB. JEALOUSY GETS YOU NOWHERE

I disagree that Castlerahan will get hammered. The bulk of this team have beaten the Gaels in Minor & Under 21 championships and will not be afraid to face them on the big day. There are teams that the Gaels can intimidate but I dont think Castlerahan is one of them. Come on the Rahan!!!!

I think there's a healthy respect between both clubs and there's no animosity so hopefully it will be all about football. Given that both teams are more football than brawn I reckon the final will be a good one.

Good to see Castlerahan there, there has been much promise over the years and as I recall the Anglo Celt said they wouldn't get through the group stage and last week that they be beaten by Belturbet and as far I can recall, were not Redhills favourite to take the championship?. Expect more of the same so. Nothing like a hungry underdog against the world to pull out a performance. Sure Time will tell the best team will win.

Be very interesting to see if Val will be there, didn't see him at any of the group or QR/Semi finals. King and Hyland were there so why do we bother with outsiders?
Most if not all of our break through at underage has been local.

He has been there for all the matches the fact you saw Mr Hyland I am surprised you did not see Val Andrews.

Do you guys spend the duration of matches walking around the stand and terrace trying to spot members of county Senior management? You's seem to get very agitated when you don't see them!!

Barring a few of the old guard on the Gaels team the majority of their players are young and have been beaten by many of these castlerahan players before. The rahan players wont fear the gaels at all and performances from some of the rahan players this year have been outstanding the O'Connells in particular. Gaels very impressive also. I expect a shoot out!
