Drop each and every one of that current panel. The performance against Cork has re-in forced the view, that none of them should ever wear a county jersey again. Bring in lads who are willing to commit, work hard and perform, it doesnt matter about ability, we've used our best fotballers in terms of ability, and we were left with shambolic performances.

you will get no one more hard working and honest than Dermot Sheridan he is a quality person so I don't agree with you when you say all but your are very close for sure. I said in an earlier post all bar 5 and I stick with this statement.

scruffy,
That sounds like a great idea until you think that the majority of the players spent god knows how many hours, evenings and weekends of effort to come up against the best football team in Ireland and get the hiding of their lives.
after 5 minutes they knew nothing could be done and got disheartened, knowing they were playing the worst rival available.
to top matters we had a crowd of tulips along the line whose only thought before half time was to substitute a corner forward.
So, when a club member of yours is asked to join the County panel the intelligent answer will be for him to say "no thanks, I'd rather be out chasing women with my mates and watching the premiership on the telly, and having a few pints in the bar after an old challenge game with the club junior team.
Who can we get to better our team? Are you suggesting we get an untalented bunch of twenty five men who can run for an hour to make up the county panel?
Do you think they'd take the dog's abuse people like you give them?
Changes need to be made, possibly big time, but to say the whole county panel are prima donnas is too strong for me.

Good post but there are some nice talented players out there if they are willing to play for the county but the old problems arrives will we have on board people strong enough to off load the seasoned seniors.???

If Val Andrews brings in youth and replaces most of the current players I would say Cavan will have a team we can be proud of in three years time fighting for honours. BUT if its as you were well cavanlawd I guess you will be right. Sean

this time last year, no-one thought Down would dominate anything..so who's to say another team won't be there or there abouts in a few years..and why can't it be us! here's hoping!

on this website I saw fixtures for u14 finals at 7 45 on school nights can this be true?

shouldn't we have these games on at the weekend at an earlier time?

is it something to do with Breffni parks availability

we need to be very carefull with these players for our future

any results so far?
