you are wrong ochonlir. € 100 bet at 8/15 = 100 x 8 / 15 = € 53.33 + your initial € 100 bet = € 153.33

It is €153 back. 8/15 in the new decimal odds system however is 1.53 meaning he would only get €153 back. How you now work this out is:

8 / 15 * 100 = 53.33 (plus your €100 bet back) means you leave with €153.33.

This link here better explains it. It also has an odds calculator. Another easy way of remembering it is that 8/15 is damn near 1/2. 1/2 on a €100 bet would give you back a €50 win and your €100 bet back (€150 overall).

Mullahorn at 8/1 now that does not look bad the way they are playing at the moment. Why not put 20 on them and 20 on Lacken from what I have seen so far these have looked the best.

no math is not my strong point and I don't go to the bookies BUT 50% return is still better than any investment you would make in any financial institution


the point is that you should get your money on at these odds and if you're like me you wont get as much as you first thought(or exactly the same if you already understood odds) but you should invest in the Gaels.
