Good to see a healthy discussion on the Intermediate Championship.......
Bit disappointed with the competition this year. A lot of teams have been very poor.
Thought that Ballyhaise might have lived up to their own hype this year but showed that with one or two players not on top form they are an ordinary team.
Killashandra disappointed again, but went a step further this year than they did last year.
Cootehill didn't really convince this year and probably got as far as they deserved. I think they are a bit like Ballyhaise.
Not sure what happened Drumgoon but I think they would have beaten Drumalee but again don't perform in the c'ship.
Knockbride and Kill did better than anyone expected this year. Both are finished and will struggle next year in the league. Their best players are past it and for most it will be their final year. Kilinkere are at their level at the group stage.
Strangely enough, Bailieboro have been in the 1 Quarter final and 3 semi finals in the last four years. Not really anyone's choice for the C'ship but could be there about. Don't think they will do it this year but they seem to have a good bunch of players for the future.
I think Drumlane or Bailieboro look like good challengers to Drumalee but I think Drumalee will win. I just think they will have too much for anyone else who plays them. Unless whoever plays them can put them away early or build up a good lead, I think they will lift the cup.
Just to call out, I'm not a Drumalee supporter I just think they will win as they have the strongest panel.
Drumlane and Bailieboro used Subs in their semi final match and they did not improve either side.
I predict Bailieboro to win by 2 points in the replay and Drumalee to win the final.

Ochonlir - Of course Drumalee are a town team, Drumalee goes as far as the Catherdal in Cavan Town.. It's a 2 minute drive to Breffini park from Drumalee! Just wanted to clear that misunderstanding up!

Im afraid Bailieboro blew their chance last friday night lads, Drumlane are a good team and will not play as bad again this friday night in the replay at breffini park.. Bailieboro had the chance with the last kick of the ball and couldn't take it, i really can't see them beating Drumlane in the replay!

No one cares about the group stages of the Championship, its the knock out games that matter, anybody can predict group games, when it comes to knock out its a different story altogether... If Bailieboro did manage to win against Drumlane on Friday, which i can't see, then they will get absoloutely kicked out of Breffini by Drumalee in the final... Drumlane would obviously give Drumalee a tougher game in the final if they get there.... But as i said before and i'll say it again - Drumalee will be Intermidiate Champions in 2 weeks...
