Some posters on this forum said before the drumalee knockbride game that between the reilly brothers and tierney knockbride would post a cricket score.
The work of drumalee's backs must have played a big part in the semi final win.I personally have never seen a team score so little in a semi final - 2 points.
Hopefully all we need is for our forwards to start scoring again and we'll be lifting the intermediate c'ship cup again come 3rd october.

It is no secret that drumalee are not the most popular club in the county so some of the negativity here doesn't surprise me, however having followed the intermediate championship this year I would say this....baileboro squandered their chances against drumlane last week and neither of them teams look strong enough to beat drumalee. They were written off and slated before both the cootehill and knockbride games and to be honest they shouldve won both games by serious margins. In my opinion they have one of the strongest backlines in the county at ANY level. Their midfield are two good workhorses. The only thing that could stop them this year is kicking the game away with wide balls.

No Dara, you said that drumalee couldn't beat eggs and were useless.
Before the cootehill match you reckoned drumalee would lose by 8, and guess what happened, drumalee were much the better team and won by one having kicked a dreadful sight of wides.
In the semi more of the same, so I'm delighted to see that you're sticking to your guns for the final.
Drumalee are a terrible team but hey we're really lucky because every team we face another team they become worse than us the day we play them.
I'm starting to believe in faeries and the like.
One day you'll be right and we'll lose a game, hopefully that match will be in the very distant future.

never seen such a terrible game.like a junior c game.god help who ever wins intermediate.they will go straight down ,not taking from drumalee they deserved the win.maybe its time to join 3 or 4 clubs together.has anyone seen the article on last weeks celt ?.food for thought because the club system is not working.the proposal was very intresting and should be taken seriously.over to u county board , too many teams are just going through motions at all levals .anyone who has not seen article please take a look.

I suppose no matter how good Drumalee play or even if they win the final, you will always have the haters and people that havn't a clue like dara10.... Dara10, will you get a grip of yourself please.. how mnay times have you written of Drumalee?? Before every game, i think it's about time you gave of positive talk, every single word you have said about them has been nothing but negative, seriously like what is it you have against Drumalee??... There in the final, i don't see your club in a final, where ever your from... Drumalee's back line is immense, definitely the strongest in the Intermidiate grade, and it is stronger than many Senior teams back line... Gary Malone has been outstanding for Drumalee in the Championship this year, definitely up there so far for player of the Championship, he's there number 8 in midfield... All they need to work on is their shooting and they will win the Intermidiate title... Drumlane or Baileboro are definitely there to be beating... So if Drumalee do end up winning the title, what are you gonna say then, give them more stick, say nothing but bad things about them?! It ovbiously goes to show you hate them for some reason... All they want is abit of praise, saying well done for getting to the final when no one expected them to, like is that to much to ask for... If they do win it on the 3rd of october, what will you say?

They wont win it..There not that good - to score 7 points in a game is very bad..I dont have anything against them at all, honestly i don't!! Gary Malone was poor on saturday - he wouldn't get player of the championship - that will prob go to Paddy Bird from Bailieboro if they win their semi final replay!! See it from a neutral point of view like i do, my club aren't in a final but are a great senior side that won Intermediate last year!!

Like seriously, what do you mean Gary Malone was poor on saturday night, he was easily the best player on the pitch, marked John Teirney out of the game, that's why Knocbride were poor, because everything they do, goes thru John Teirney, and he wasn't in the game atall saturday night!
Your from Lavey so... Sure Lavey hate Drumalee, no wonder you are so negative and do nothing but bad mouth Drumalee... if Drumalee win the Championship, you will get some abuse of people on this... i can't honestly see Drumalee being beaten in the final.. so just keep bad mouthing them if you like!
