Dara, we'll see on sunday but one thing's for sure, drumalee got to the quarter finals unlike others.
having said that, having the ace tipster meg backing us makes it that bit more difficult.
Drumalee blow hot and cold. FACT. Good enough to play senior c'ship one day, and bad enough to lose against junior B's the next.

fair result in the drumlane v killeshandra game last night but some poor decisions made by the referee, a disallowed goal, a sending off for two fair shoulders , and countless other things makes for another good game next week..

Drumalee beat Cootehill by 1 point, which in truth Drumalee should of won by 7 or 8. Top class 2nd half preformance from them. I was at the game, im not from Drumalee myself. I tipped them from the start of the year when no one else did, Ballyhaise lads laughed at me, i don't see them lads laughing now!

No harm to ya's lads but Drumalee won a game - they're not going to win much more..Knockbride will beat them for sure, sorry but that's just my opinion.

Dara10 at the end of the day Drumalee won the game and fully deserved to do so. Knockbride are no great team and it is quite possible that Drumalee will beat them. Cootehill will be disappointed as last years beaten finalists but ultimately they bet Drung in the semi - final last year and Drung ( who bet Kill in the quarter - final and were lucky to do so) have proven to be a weak side based on this years league and championship. I may be wrong but I don't think they have won a game. The Intermediate is a very open competition with alot of evenly matched teams. Ballyhaise and Drumgoon must also be wondering what might have been? Personally I would back the winner of the Drumlane/Killeshandra replay to take the title.

Agree with ya Killygarry Lad that the winners of Drumlane + Killeshandra will take the Intermediate this year..wat happens ya on Saturday - facing relegation now.

Dara10 - Which club in Cavan are you from, just as a matter of interest?

I have been to the majority of Intermidiate Champoinship games this year in Cavan just as a fan, i don't support a club as such, but in my view, i think Drumalee will be a very strong team in a few years, they have lots of good young players on there team, and it is a very young squad. If they sort out there free taking they could suprise a few more people. There defending against Cootehill last saturday night was brillant. If they sort out 1 or 2 things they could win the Championship this year. As for Killashandra/Drumlane, most people would obviously back one of them to win it, because they were backed as favourites from the beginning of the year. Honestly i would fancy the winner of that replay to go on and win the championship, but don't write of Drumalee just yet!

Also in responce to Dara10's predictions last week -

Cootehill v Drumalee - Cootehill by 8 points, Drumalee v poor.
Knockbride v Drumgoon - Drumgoon by 7 points.
Drumlane v Killeshandra - Drumlane by 2 / 3 points. This being the best game of the 4 i reckon.
Kill v Baileboro - Kill by 3 points

Ya didn't get 1 near right, so just be sure not to be to negative about Drumalee!

I may not have got 1 right - fair enough..i go to all them games & have seen drumalee play..that's why i said wat i said. Maybe in a few years they may win it fair enough but i don't think they will this year...if you go back a few months you will see i backed drumlane from the start...BOOM

Also i think ya'll find not many got them right + nobody backed drumalee to win.

Fair enough ya backed Drumlane, but i can't see them beating Killashandra in the replay, but i could be wrong! Drumalee are a good championship team, regardless of how they preformed in the league, always has been that way with them! They have the squad to win an Intermidiate Champoinship, without a doubt. There's always a surprise in the Intermidiate Championship, so many evenly matched teams in it yano! But let's wait and see what happens. The replay is this Sunday is it?

Yes no one backed Drumalee to do anything this year, which has worked in there advantage. They are a better team when there not expected to win! So there ya go!

Poor Dara, he only reads his own posts about the intermediate c'ship, because as far as I can recall I backed Drumalee on the same day he backed 2 teams.
anyhow what is important is our next game, when is the draw for the semis? was it known beforehand?

to be honest I can see Drumalee doing a fairly good c'ship, and could go all the way.
I have to say though I am a little biased.
If they have their best 15 out on the day, it'll take a good team to beat them.

Drumavigo -

The semi final draw was made last night -
Drumalee v Knockbride
Balieboro v Winners of Killashandra and Drumgoon replay

Drumalee can go all the way, abit more belief and it's there to be won!

Dara10 - Drumalee were 10/1 to win the Championship before the quarter final, i dunno what price they are now!
