I don't think it's the managers fault that Ballyhaise always fail in the intermediate championship,they just haven't the players for the big day.Since 2005 they've had at least 3/4 managers ,when the pressure's on they can't handle it simple as that.Last year they had Lavey beat and knocked out of the competition only to let them back into the game after leading by 5 with about 5 mins to go,it was the same this year with Killeshandra.

Intermediate quarter finals and ballyhaise demise.

In my honest opinion the quarter final pairings dont look the same without Ballyhaise there.

Let me make it clear that I am not a Ballyhaise supporter but like their style of football. It's a farce that they didnt get out of their group but its their own fault. They will learn from this and I have no doubt will bounce back with a new manager and win their second Intermediate title.

Just look at the quality of players they have at their disposal..unfortunately for them the also have players travelling so were nowhere near their strongest this year.

With the return of these players I think it's a dead cert they will win it next year.

With regards to this years quarter final teams-none of them are good enough to win it-simple as that but as one team has to win it I'm going to go for Killeshandra as they beat Ballyhaise.

Thanks to the Administrator for posting that comedy gold from Meg. Ballyhaise beaten by both Drumgoon and Killeshandra (13 men!!!) and barely get past Butlersbridge who both Drumgoon and Killeshandra hammered speaks volumes! Every team are missing players for various reasons so all the talk of players away travelling (I wonder how many would have started anyway!!) doesn't hold much salt!! Best 8 teams in the quarters and plenty of worthy winners amongst them!

I think drumlane will beat k'shandra....killeshandra are good, dont get me wrong but there too soft...christ any knock and ther down..expect drumlane to hit them hard
