Now, 1st of all, the weather conditions last Saturday night at the game were scandalous, easily the wettest night i have seen, so ovbiously that woul not of helped matters... But the hard work & determination shown by Drumalee was outstanding... Maybe the standard of GAA itself wasn't the best, but there's no need for people on this to give Drumalee the abuse they get... By the way i wasn't labelling any teams, just putting it out there that they were 3 of the favourites to win the Intermidiate Championship... I will put it out there now, you will see a big scored racked up by Drumalee in the final.. They need to work on their shooting, if they do they'll put up serious scores!

Last week was most dissapointing i was there,but its as if we need a PR input.The bite has certainly gone out of games i ll grant you that but i still think we have the quality.There is various ways of improving this.

Media: We have the Celt comically poor coverage & articles poetically scribiled on secondary notes,Its neither critical nor accurate even.Never rates players never rates the ref never gives us a background into players.
No Dream team no feckin imagination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Northern Sound never has guest comentaters like this weekend Donie Shine should be invited over & when Roscommon co final plays they should have Seanie Johnston.
Or interviews good competition new commentators

Gaa: The timing & promotion of games is nt family friendly,have you ever been to a soccer baseball or basketball or american football game i ve been to all four,the first intercounty stadium that sells to mothers 2yr old to 16 yr olds will change our game.(Have workshops big screen free flags school competition god its rolling off my tongue here its so easy..

Competition:Look around Gaa see what other sports are doing quit being complacent.

The characters are gone cause refs don t let them raise their heads.Eddie Reilly id walk across hot stoves to see his celebrations & antics,Donal keogan could once fill grounds with his aroggance alone great player.Both men have nt got a say anymore cause of Hieracy...
There should be man of match award for each game


The County Final wheres the skools Art competitions with displays ina room in breffni?The Cup never visits schools.Imagine a large screen with player profile comming up man would nt you be proud,

County Final how manys going maybe 4-5000 they shud tightened up both sides of the field to create an atmosphere.Invite micheal Mhuirheatgah or anybody famous.maybe sam maguire is free for the day with two Cork Players?

Finally Hers how i ll go County final head in with family half hour before hand over pay plus program in parking na parkings not bad,watch a non atmospheric game as crowd too dipersed,look at poor refing stop starting there will be at least 30 frees.Half time go down queue 4 20 min for tea & bar fiver?? No play area for restless kids & home again as day of the pub is gone.Not the Gaa s fault :-) .. Too slow at presentation only the club supporters stay..Too many tickets sellers

Sorry to go on such a rant but The Gaa in Cavan simply is providing or promoting.I think the whole county players & ladies should be present in their gear liasoning with fans maybe have a free taking comp with best club players .God something anything to make it worth the 15 or 20

Create an atmosphere,start with closing off most of Breffni you ve heard it here first it will work..

Denn Man wot world u living u live in Cavan in rural Ireland nothing like ur imagining there will never happen, lots of ppl have no interest in the GAA in Cavan and at club level as they are too focused on their own lives and the way things have evolved in Cavan ppl get more enjoyment out of different hobbies. the bad refs, hatred. bedgrudgery and criticism from ppl who know very little about the game has driven a lot of ppl away and I dont blame them!!!

You don t have to take all my comments on board but you ve just summed up you have little to add or learn from Gealic & what it should stand for in so called rural Ireland.Maybe you should go & play golf & setup a golf forum or whatever hobbie you have.

Thats exactly my point for such and umbrella society as the GAA we provide little & are losing to such sports & hobbies..

best of luck 2nite to bailieboro shamrocks go out and do yourself proud,as its not that long since ballinagh beat us in the quaterfinal to go on and win it and lavey the same with both matches we had to lose by foolish mistakes last week to lets shut the begruggers up let them slobber bout drumalee who can score 7 points in a full game of football and declare there gonna win it,drumlane to be fair are good but bailieboro are to strong in defence for them showed last week. the shamrocks are poor centre field if that area could raise there game the can do it,there young and can only get better well done lads win or lose. there this last few years but alot seem to forget when there slobbering

The fact of the matter is the GAA in Cavan is not run properly bad refs, bedgrudgery and hatred among ppl, thats why lots of ppl r turning to other sports.

It would be nice to have a good gaa set up in Cavan like tyrone, kerry, cork etc.....

I just found some ppl in the GAA can be very ignorant and backward !!!

Drumlane beat Bailieboro 0-09 to 0-05 tonight.. It was 0-04 each at half time.. I said Drumlane would win the replay..

Intermidiate Final - Drumalee v Drumlane.. The date has not been offically fixed yet due to the replay being a week before the final, it was down for the 3rd of october, but that could yet change!

Has to be drumlane..Think drumalee are a bit like the gaels a wee bit cocky!! Drumlane have a better midfield + a half forward that can score all the time.
