have to say the standard of football in the senior champiosnhip has been dreadful never mind the intermediate, Drumalee are in the Final this shows how much the standard of football has deterioted in Cavan, Our standard of club football must be up there with the likes of London, New York and Kilkenny!!!

If Ballyhaise, Killashandra, Drumgoon or any of these so called big boys had of got in the final wat would every one be saying then?? At the end of the day Drumalee have the best panel in the Intermediate Championship! Nobody seen them as contenders, as they didn't see the group of players they really has over the last number of years, everything is just clicking for them now, with former top players coming back into the panel and lads at last starting to fill their potential... They have a very young panel to, just be careful what you say, because Drumalee are a very good team now! With an outstanding back line!

There's two reasons why that won't happen:

1 - He won't be in the final anyway, because Drumlane will win the replay.

2 - Drumalee's back line would have him marked out of the game.

So it does not really matter either way!

I hope your well qualified to make these statements.Talking about the standard of football.If anything our Intermediate is the most competitive competition,i don t know when the starting favourirte has won it last..

The refing & timing of champ is deplorable but don t blame the clubs or the players.

well If Ballyhaise, Killashandra, Drumgoon weren't all in the same group they would hav had a better chance...... instead all the weak division 2 teams were put together so they were always going to be one of them in the final!!!!!!!!

There was at least 7 teams at the start of the Intermidiate Championship that could of won it, always is ever year, the favorites hardly ever win it... Where as in the Senior Championship, there is only really 1 team yano - Cavan Geals... And ya can have your pick of 3 or 4 teams for the Junior Championship.. But certinialy, i have to agree that the Intermidiate Championship is the most evenly challenged Championship we have.. It may lack the quality and that, but it has everything else!!

Did Ballinagh not get to the All Ireland Final? Lavey to the Ulster.Infact what are ya on about JohnSilver Oh & i gauranttee you Either Cavan geals or Kingscourt will get to Ulster Final this year as of all years clubs are busting at the seems for football.

I cannot discredit refs enough for the start stop play for the stealing the limelight for begrugery.If we let the game flow & voted out the bad refs theres a start..

The standard of refing in Breffni was very bad and has been creepin in lately to some players as they re afraid to go in hard or at times take on their opponents..

Yes Denn Man i do agree that the refereeing in Cavan is very poor and some refs are begrudging toward certain clubs cavan gaa is very backward like that,
when I speak about the standard in Cavan a score line of 0-7 -0-2 in a championship semi final speaks for itself about the standard of football these teams r playing at.
