Shercock bow out again when expectations were so high, bit like the dubs, great result for mountnugent though. Munchies v Shannon Gaels and Mountnugent v Swadlinbar in the semis. Munchies v shannon gaels should be close game with munchies to just prevail, Swad should have too much for Mountnugent.

Well opa we never really came out of the dressing room! Just never got going. We knew Mountnugent would be tough to beat but we thought we could give them a better game than yesterday. Fair play to them anyway they were up for it and David Givney was brilliant. As for all the positive postings on our behalf they were not coming from us.

Shannon Gaels V Munchie is a tough call, but i'd have to go for Shannon Gaels in a tight game.. Swad V Mountnugent won't be as tight, Swad will finish strong and win by 4-5 points..

Went to see shercock and mountnugent play yesterday,very bad shercock team,no passion,pace or power too them,the fact that the had there best forward in goals go"s to show the skill the management team have(no system of play or game plan)David giveny was very good, and has the makeing of a great footballer,but mountnugent will have to get out of junior for this to happin,there centre half forward was great and the right half back had a stormer,there very raw and have some players that will be lost when the get to breffni park.The reason i went is, i heard shercock where flying and that the were favourites to win the championship, way way off junior champions.

Swadlinbar were very impressive scoring a massive 1 18 with 14 men for practically the whole match on Sunday last it is hard to see past them on this form.

Garoid McKeirnan will be a huge loss here however, you have to admit Swad were playing a team who did not seem to have any plan on how to play football? well this is how it looked. ??

You could be right silverwood Swad very strong dont think mountnugent will be fit for them but you never know. Should be close in the other semi munchies the team in form but i fancy shannon gaels meself.

With the players Swad have they should walk the Junior Championship.. They just need to keep their heads. Pity Gearoid is injured it would have been an interesting battle between himself and Givney.

JonSmith, G McKiernan is suspended for getting a straight red in quater final, if they win semi he might be back for final depending on when its fixed. Its hard to see mountnugent beating swad however if they go out with same attitude as they did v shercock and swad underestimate them who knows.

Shannon Gaels and munchies should be a great game, munchies have been in top form over last few weeks while SG have been unconvincing (bit like Cork) however player for player SG are a better team and should just sneak it
