Such a stupid comment, of course they'll win another game before next years championship. Clearly your a very bitter person, your probably from a club that has a local rivalry with the reds, overcome with jealousy because your club cant get out of div 3, and hav'nt a hope of winning a championship.

Its easy known that legend44 is from Arva because all arva people are jealous of their neighbouring clubs doing better then them.Cornafean got promoted and humiliated arva in the league in the process and arva people cant handled that.

Correct hoy, well said. Legend44 epitomises everything that is wrong with Cavan football, jealousy and spite. He'd rather see teams fail than make progress for the good of the county.

dont think legend44 is from arva, never posted anything on division 3 or jfc up to this, comments on division 1 stuff. sounds like he could be from munchies or perhaps another of your neighbouring clubs who knows the player sent off. no more cheap shots please

Cant see past Shannon Gaels Swad after last nights game two very strong junior teams Shannon Gaels very lively and Swad very physical and potent in the full forward line. With Geroid McKiernan home soon Swad looking the most likely.

Kildallen V's Mountnugent; Kildallen came out on top but was a well matched game up to the goal fest. Mountnugent rely too much on a injured struggling Givney . I can see Kildallen topping this group as they take on Arva next. Mountnugent meet Corlough next who won't lie down so should be a good battle

Was at few games the weekend... Arva V's Corlough_ it looked like Arva would run away with this one as they scored a goal in the first minute of the game but to Corlough's credit they never gave up the cause and without talisman Brendan Mc Govern they were always going to struggle to get the vital scores. Arva let them back into the game when they should of been out of sight but in fairness to Corlough their workrate was excellent and they never gave up and only for 3-4 very dubious ref decisions at vital stages they could of claimed a win here or at least a draw which would of been a fair result. Arva 1-13 Corlough 1-10

Swanlinbar V's Shanon Gaels: Great game here of two of the tops teams. Swad was always on top with some fine individual displays. Shannon Gaels are better than they played but one would wonder why Enda Mc Hugh was midfield I think he is best placed on the square. But credit to both teams for a very enjoyable game played in superb conditions on a fine field in Corlough

Swad by two points bulldozer led at half time by about four points aided by a strong breeze. The second half Shannon gaels started to run at swad and got to within a point of Swad but swad pulled away again led by three points Neven O Donnell scored the last point.

defeat for either side could be the end of their jfc run. Mountnugent were going well last week until kildallan pulled away at the end, givney is clearly struggling to overcome his injury. corlough battled back very well against arva last week, if they have b mcgovern fit then they could sneak it....corlough by 1

Maghera v templeport
winners of this one should be in quater final, will be hard for maghera to lift themselves after last weeks heavy defeat, this is templeports 1st game and as long as they dont take their opponents for granted they should win...templeport by 4

Kildallan v Arva
the winners here should make quaterfinal, both teams played well enough without impressing last weekend, very tight game...draw

munchies v shannon gaels
munchies wont the recent league game but should be a different result here, munchies had good win last week but the fact sg will need to win this one will leave them really up for this one. SG have a better squad overall and this will make the difference....SG by 4

Cornafean v Swad
another big win for swad last weekend, along with shercock are the early favs for jfc, after winning last week they have to be careful not to take their foot of the pedal, reds will be fired up for this one after coming back down to earth last weekend, they beat swad in league and may just do it again...reds by 1
