Dont know much about Aodh Ruadh but they won't be a push over..Best of luck to Lavey..Lurgan are playing Breda (Down) on 03/10/10 in Lurgan..Belturbet are playing the winners of Scotstown (Monaghan) V St. Pauls (Antrim) which is taking place on Wednesday evening in Scotstown & Belturbet play the winners on the 03/10/10 in a Cavan venue.

Dunno wat the tables are like - it would be a good idea if these were put up somewhere.

I was at the game and every lavey player played well to be honest. However it is hard to say how good Lavey are as the opposition were very very poor as the final score (3-16 to 1-04) suggests. If I recall correctly the Donegal side did not score in the second half and the game was over at half - time 1-09 to 1-04. In saying that Lavey have 4 county panelists and this is a massive advantage for them so I expect them to progress in this competition. However in my opinion the lavey side were not tested by Aodh Rua and it remains to be seen what type of challenge the Armagh Harps will provide. I would be confident of victory if I was Lavey but caution should be urged as away games in Ulster are not easily won and a car journey to Armagh can take it's toll on the legs of even the fittest players.

I see the 3 cavan clubs are out again this weekend in ulster. Whats their chances? Lurgan surely in with a chance esp as its a home game, Lavey seem to be on a roll too and have a good chance, Belturbet have got a tough draw with scotstown in my opinion.
