Ladies Finals All Over!

Junior - Belturbet win well over Ballymachugh, it was a very tight 1st half with only 4pts each on the scoreboard, belturbet didnt settle well at all and kicked alot of wides. but they came out fighting in the 2nd half and kicked early scores. They are a great team and well deserved champions, fair play. Plus i ditn hear much rowing going on even when they were playin bad.
Senior - great win for lurgan, delighted for them to come out on top after everyone sayin the wudnt even get past lacken. well deserved win and was a tough match, knockbride just didnt get going early on and had alot of missed chances.
Didnt get to go to the Inter but ill have another day out after the game finishing a draw

So wins for Belturbet and Lurgan in the junior and senior.

Lurgans experience showed against knockbride in the latter end.
Belturbet overall better team than ballymachugh.
As for Lavey Mullahorn game, was poor enough game, both had chances to win but didnt take them, draw fair result.

anybody know when the replay is?

Well the senior and junior finals are over for 2010, didn't see much of the junior one but Well Done to Belturbet. Great senior final, Lurgan had alot of critics through the year, but they fairly answered them on Saturday. The win, and the way they won speaks for itself. Congratulations and well done to them also!

who wrote the county final match reports, very thorough and well written! yet AGAIN its nice to see the ever supportive anglo celt {insert *SARCASM here) with absolutely nothing on the county team's all ireland quarter final sunday (templeport, 3pm). you can be guaranteed it would be wall to wall coverage if it was the men or minors in the same situation...typical.... although surely there is a county PRO who should take some of the flak, doesnt take too long to write a paragraph..

Well said clonee fed up ladies and girls football being ignored by celt. what message are they sending out - that boys matches are more important and the girls ones are a waste of ink? my daughter won her first final this year and not so much as a scoreline was printed. the same week at least two pages of photos & match reports on juvenile boys matches. Equality how are ya!!

Clonee,

Did the Ladies win? I've been looking for this result since Sunday and can't find it anywhere on local or national media. However Ladies GAA have to take part of the blame also as both their own local and national have no result either, at least when I last checked.

It shouldn't be too hard to give a bit of coverage to the most successful county team in recent years

Championships not over yet for Lavey and Mullahoran. Still no word on replay?

Anybody Know what the League tables are looking like?
Is is Top 2 teams in final or Top 4 in semi finals?

Heard the replay between Lavey and Mullahoran is on the first weekend in September...its a pity ters no league tables so we could look at them. Think its the top 4 in semi finals but a lot of teams have a good few left to play!

I'd say the league fixtures will be determined by how Cavan get on Saturday 28th against Waterford in the All-Ireland semi final. Division 1 of 9aside is at semi final stage and that'll prob be in September. Mullahoran or Lavey are out in Ulster the last weekend in September and Lurgan and Belturbet are out 3rd October. Home venues for all Cavan clubs. That's what we're told anyway.
