Lurgan for the senior championsip, they will hold it together better than knockbride, after good win over lacken i think they can do it.
Lavey for Intermediate, they hav an alround good squad and they fight hard to the end, cant see mullahoran coming out on top
Belturbet for Junior, the played a great game to knock out drumlane who had been tipped to win juior no rpoblems. if belturbet turn it on they should comfortably win it

Well Belturbet are surely going to win the junior seeing as they are going to win intermediate next year and prob senior the followin year.. In intermediate ya'd have to favour Lavey but mullahoran will be no push over and ya must remember that they have a few years senior football experience behind them but lavey should just have enough to see them over the line. The Senior final sholud be a cracker,in more ways than one, especially after everything has gone on in recent weeks, Knockbride will have plenty reasons to get one up on lurgan but i think the fact they have such a young team could be their achiles heel,they have the capability of beating anyone on their day but the final could be just a step to far and lurgan should have the experience to win by 2 ta 3 points, but i def wont be putting my house on it.

Just after seein that i posted that 2 months ago, got the junior badly wrong, got the intermediate spot on and the senior half right, not bad i suppose.

Belturbet should beat ballymachugh easy but if things arent going well they all fight amoungs eachother and fall apart completly, and saying theyl win the inter nxt year n the senior is a bit far, belturbet have been in the junior championship semi final for the last number of years its about time they got into a final and start to win something,

belturebt were in the semi last year against st.finbarrs and in fairness st.finbarrs had the better of them with pam crowe playing well, they have went really well in intermediate this year for a team who were just promoted so they were obv the better team last year. as far as belturbet goes i dont think they will win championships year after year thats a bit much and defo not good for a team to go up so suddenly. they have alot of new young ones playin and seem to have pulled it all together so i think they should be able to keep it up into the final on saturday.
knockbride will defo put it up to lurgan and they have loads of experience but i think lurgan are the better form team and they certainly have loads of experienced players to keep a cool head in a final, althou im hoping it will be a action packed final after what happened in the semi! i agree mullahoran have great senior experience but i just think lavey will pip them this year, lavey are deserved a championship they have a great club going there.

Hopefully next year the county team will look a bit deeper for player playing in upcoming teams as it seems to be the same old players all the time. anyone else think that?

were is this whole fighting thing coming from?? doesnt every team normally have s few words during a mtach when mistakes are made, i agree dara10, i know belturbet team well i they dont have rows in camp, they all seem to have a great bit of banter, if you had seen the happy faces coming of the pitch and how together they are you would know that on field 'rows' are what happens with every team in the country!

belturbet might of bet the favourites only because drumlane didnt give it all they had they sat back,, they are known to fight among each other once things are going there way but lets hope they keep there cool saturday and they should win no bother

Have the Ladies finals ever been in Breffni? Seems to me it would be a good boost for the game for them to be played at headquarters, all on the same day. Anyone know why this isn't the case? I can't believe it's attendance related.

Junior.... My moneys on Belturbet, Very good team proformance against drumlane in the semi final, if they play anything like that again should be a comfortable win but in saying that Ballymachugh will not lie down and take a beating!

Intermediate.....Lavey seem to be flying from what i hear, Mullahoran have good mix on their team and senior experience will stand to them but il back lavey to win it marginally!

Senior....After seeing Lurgan play Lacken last week they showed alot of grit and determination,,,Knockbride are also flying though....will be game of the day, theres nothing between them, depends who proforms on the day! Actuly dont know who will win so im going to take the safe option and say a draw!
