With reference to the sending off in the Knockbride/Lurgan game, the comments appear to be somewhat one sided. I'm sure alot more people were present at the Dublin/Louth Leinster final, and it's the referee's decision that counts. Get over it!

The comments are one sided because thast the opinion of 90% of the people that were at the game, yes of course the refs decision is final but lurgan had the chance to oblige knockbride, same way as meath had chance to oblige louth but obvioulsy lurgan and meath people have the same mindset,(not surprisingly as they do neighbour each other) and we all know wat the entire country thought of meath after wat they done.

Oblige Knockbride? What does that mean? I thought Knockbride won the game.

and i can assure you marymac that im entirely neutral here, im not from either team so i have no bias towards either one of them and i wouldnt comment only i happened to be standing right in front of where the tackle took place. just a terrible shame that a young girl would miss out on a senior championship final for a tackle that barely warranted a yellow. im pretty sure if you asked fiona murphy or any of the lurgan girls that were nearby they would all say it didnt deserve a red.

Clonee I never asked you anything, let alone where you're from. ALL i asked was what did Bigtom mean about Lurgan obliging Knockbride, I don't understand that

Is there a discipline procedure in ladies, because this is the first type in incident i came across regarding a player getting a ban, who decides this, surely knockbride are going to appeal it?? I hear the player in question has never done a thing like that before and is not in her nature, slightly harsh, but thats football, but then again where s the NEUTRAL lines people that the ref should bring, rather than a club member doing the line.

when in the history of the GAA or the history of Ladies football did you hear of a club being expected to appeal the suspension of a player of another.

I'm sure Knockbride are quite capable of appealing and winning if there is a case.

The implication that a club is lessened because it borders Meath is insane, Lurgan, Cuchullians, Balieborough, M'connaught, Kingscourt(Meath and Monaghan) to name but a few are lesser by your bizzare standards. Your bias for meath is very unfair and is only matched by your unfair bias for Lurgan, I would urge that club to treat your comments with distain.

Was at the Lurgan Lacken game, Lurgan won by 4, not a great game to watch, neither team willin to giv an inch but lurgans second goal from long range just killed of lacken, Lacken had plenty of chances but just could not take them while lurgan defended well... going to make for an INTERESTING final.. Herd knockbride beat templeport by 5 and lavey beat killygarry well. Any1 know any other results.

Would everyone like to eat their words...thinking drumlane would hammer belturbet..ya's obviously have never seen belturbet play!! Belturbet were outstanding & didn't give drumlane an inch...Their 15 players all deserve a medal for bravery!!! Fierce team, well impressed with them.
