great game between lurgan and knockbride, v entertaining. SHOCKIN refereeing decisions though, absolutely wasnt a red card. will be an absolute shame, no a disgrace if that poor girl gets suspended for a month. not fair, awful shame

killygarry should have to much fire power for lavey...lavey have a good midfield in murphy/smith however killygarry are strong all over...whoever wins this will win the championship, was at mullahorn/ st finbarrs..mullahorn have good back line but up front, weak enough...st finbars, no good despite having two county players, gowna done well against inny gaels, good players in fitzpatrick and halton..it will be a good game with them and mullahorn. inny gaels have gone backward since last year

knockbride and lacken won. a young minor girl, clarke, got sent off for 'striking' fiona murphy from lurgan. happened literally right beside the whole crowd and EVERYONE said it wasnt a sending off, it was barely even a foul. two of them went up for a kickout, both just trying to win the ball, murphy went down, ref showed a red. such a shame for a young girl to miss a month of football for absolutely nothing, hard enough to get girls out playin ball without banning them for a month.not right

Well said clonee, it was one of worst decisions ive seen in a long time, its wasn't even a yellow nevermind a red card... there was plenty county board officials at the game to see the incident so lets hope common sense prevails, would be disgrace for that girl to miss a senior championship final and most of a minor championship all because of a poor refereein decision.... havn't said that knockbride look very sharpe this year and will be hard beat in the final, they seems to have the bit between their teeth this year and i cannot understand how they have no girls playin on the county, only one on the bench... surely a team who can beat lacken and lurgan in championship must have players capable of playin county football??

well you could ask that million dollar question in regards the county team!!! dont get me wrong, they have excellant players in there but aginst donegal in the final with english, smith and cornyn injured, who had they to bring on...traynor was the only one!!!

I was at the Knockbride lurgan game on sat and i totally agree wit clonee and bigtom13, was a great game to watch, both teams worked hard but knockbride well derserved their victory, had 70%+ of the play and kicked 15+ wides.The sendin off was totally out of order, it happened right in front of the whole crowd and we could clearly see that it was barely even a foul, feel so sorry for the young Clarke girl. In relation to them not havin any county players, they have a very young team and i think they had 8 or 9 minors in their startin 15 but traynor had a great game on sat,she should surely be gettin her place on county. Lurgan also have 2 or 3 other players who would be capable of been on the county panel... Going to be a good game with lurgan lacken on friday to see who gets to final, ill def be headin to watch it, will make for a great game as winner takes all.Lacken should just have enough to beat lurgan and their experience should see them overcome a young knockbride team in the final.
