Practically every Competition in the world is reported on by the media by publishing the League table. For example the 6 nations the World cup the premiership League 1 will, apart from match reports have the league standing published as part of the sports reporting.your doing ok so far,they might be tables that millions of people are interested in,but we wont let that take away from your point.


Why is is then that rarely if ever will you see a league table in a Cavan newspaper No senior League no Underage it's part of the joy of following a sport to look at a table and goal difference, games in hand etc. just to let you know,the cavan post is a cavan news paper,the celt may be the main one,but not the only one.


This year you will be locky to see a fully updated League table for the Senior leagues perhaps once or twice for the season you will not see one underage table. but you will see pictures of people out drinking in pubs near cavan town!well we've already seen one in a cavan newspaper,and there could be alot more that i didnt see.also im pretty sure the celt(because that seems to be the only cavan newspaper your aware of)will have the senior tables more than "once or twice"
