I believe we need to begin preparing for the future as the development gear does say but what difference are the development sqauds making so far,do they train much?

I have heard this every year for the last 13 years and what have we got to show for all this so called potential, nothing. It will be the same next year and the year after tat but the law of averages we will get it right once.

the development squad set-up is poor with trainers trying to get in as many players as possible from their club and overlooking players they don't know

Shercock beat finbars by 9 points tonight and rightly so, probably should of been more. Wonderful display from shercock, very fit and sharp, killian clark and david harper lorded midfield, scored the bulk of their teams scores too. Denn beat shannon gaels luckily enough, a two man show, dean hyland and nevin o'donnell, the first gettin ten points (2f) the second a goal and five(2f), hyland got sent off but should have been put off long before he was as should of the two of the full backs for consistent fouling, referee did shannon gaels no favours!! Unlucky not to progress but neither team will beat the lee anyway!!

SPARKLING have to say that is the worst write up of the denn game you could get!two man show?!alan tierney played class as did ciaron conaty and noel crowe!you musnt have been at the game!...nevin o'donnel and the full forward and full back were very good for shannon gaels.

Cavan underage is so poor is because there is coaching done on the small fast player then the big slow player.the big players arent been brought on enough,there the lads who need the coaching.david givney is an example of a big player.he is improving by the more coaching he gets.he wasnt staring at minor level 2 years ago but yet he has came on in the championship for the seniors

Cavan have finally realised that ye are no addition, having listened to a few lads from Cavan all I was hearing was how great the minor team was this year yet ye went out at the first hurdle against a Down team who are nothing special. I really don't know where this great opinion of yourselves came from when did ye last win an ulster minor title?
