When did I ever say Portlaoise were whiter than white?
Portlaoise were involved in a rough match with Vincents and there were sendings off, nothing to be proud off.I'm not getting into rubbish about AK supporters showing class in not coming on here slagging off Portlaoise.By way I had every right to give my opinion about dirt from AK because it involved my club.If it was any other match I wouldnt have bothered commenting on it.Facts after that match are we have two lads out, Rogers with broken jaw and Smith out for footballers and hurlers for next couple of weeks.

Always nice to know we have a morale guardian here in Lillylover.God knows kildare never put a foot wrong. This is a sad conversation that I'm stepping out off because there's more to life than getting listening to garbage from by someone who has nothing got to do with Portlaoise, AK or Vincents and just wants to stir it up.

How are rhode getting along this year as a matter of interest?

Well their all big fish when their still in championship and Portlaoise can be beaten by anyone.I would rate both AK and Mountmellick, maybe, as good a team as Rhode.

As for Portlaoise being afraid to draw Rhode again, without trying to stir it up I would suggest the opposite.Portlaoise were beaten fair and square last year no doubt about that but there is a feeling that Portlaoise went into that match looking beyond Rhode .I suppose the fact Portlaoise hammered Rhode last time out in 2004-05 leinster club added to Portlaoises attitude.Of course we paid for that attitude but it wont happen again and I do think Portlaoise would be well able to beat Rhode if they got crack again.

How are Rhode going this year by the way?

rhode have shamrocks in the semi final with the winner playing either clara, ferbane, or erin rovers .looks like a rhode clara final ,the way i look at it is that both rhode and portlaoise have one win apiece with the current teams .if they wer to meet again i would be confident that rhode could turn them over ,rhode are on a mission this year and it will take a very good team to stop them ,

Seems like both teams want each other so!I had a quick look at draw for leinster club and I think laois vs offaly is a potential semi final.Long way to go until then, we'll both be happy getting each other at semi final stage.Anyway we may try win laois first which ain't easy.

change what record? Is that the record about winning? ...
...even though AK could well beat Portlaoise this year to win county title, but I'm sure rationale thinking doesn't enter your head.I'm sure you would rather I come on here telling all willing to listen about Portlaoise and how we'll win county title but alas its the opposite, I feel Portlaoise can be taken. The question is do AK have enough balls to go head to head with Portlaoise football wise??

Baxter........................your like a dog with a bone :) I dont think AK have been playing to their full potential this year..............they need to get the heads down an play some serious ball. As i said Emo are one to watch.................are very strong at the moment, but it should be a good game.
I was at the all Ireland yesterday those Offaly women are serious contenders...............every bit as good as the cats..................v poor turn out only about 30k there. Clare gave Kilkenny a run for there Money....................good day until I had to get up this morn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lillylover- 30K is a poor crowd? For a couple of camogie finals & an U21 match?
They'd love to have that many at any League of Ireland game or the RDS when Leinster are mucking about.
How many were in Thomond Park for the soccer? 5K?
Thought the U21 was brilliant. Great to see more than the cats know how to hurl.
