Portlaoise for me, lots of good challengers but if Portlaoise want it enough they'll win it.

Portlaoise are a super outfit will take serious effort for any team to stop them this year...Like Mountmellick are a team on the up ya no they could have a good chance of doing something this year...Killeen with Kingston will be stronger but ive my doubts about their back-line although ya cant argue with the strength of their forwards!! Graigue very disappointing last year against Cretty and O"Dempseys but they"ve an excellent group of young talented players there might be a year or two early and i believe injurys have hit them hard lately to....Stardbally will always be there or there abouts an when championship comes their a force to be reckoned with still think they"ve gone back even though their league form was very good!!! St Joesphs biggest under-achievers in Laois wonder when they"ll come again have a few golden oldies nearing the end maybe a last hurrah???

Stradbally are in with a great shout, training is going well and challange games are giving fringe players a chance, very strong panel, Portlaoise as always will be there but I think its Stradballys year

Killeen n Mountmellick should be there or there abouts but it's Portlaoise all the way for me.

Ugh club football...puke. At least the hurlin championship starts today! Woo-hoo! But that's just me good luck to all teams involved. I'll have one eye on portlaoise once again this year. Hopefully can make a push for another leinster.

Well Portlaoise must be favourites but the big question must be to ask what teams will give them the strongest competition. Some of the old reliables like St. Josephs don't look like figuring but others like O'Dempseys and Mountmellick must fancy their chances. What odds on relegation for Timahoe the year after they got to the final?

Portlaoise are still the team to beat...Mountmellick are a good side , i often hear people on various webiste"s talking about this chap and that chap being too small and all...The truth is lads Mountmellick have to many big lads on their team who cant cope with nippy forwards who will run all day , Portlaoise and Graigue play fast football loads of quick light chaps who can run sorry lads skill beats sheer strenght and force!!! Ballylinen put it upto a Graigue side that didnt turn up thursday nite , lucky to get a last minute score but when graigue ran at them they couldnt be stopped so im expecting to take Ballylinen tommorrow....The Heath to take Cretty and Kilcruise to take Port!!!

Thats some result for Portlaois, i thought that Mountmellick might have put it up to them as they were missing one or two players. The Emo Timahoe game sounded a good one.

Arles Killeen were a disgrace tonight. They tried to bully Portlaoise are were beaten out the gate. Money cant buy you class.

Portlaoise were class again tonight .12 points up at half time and cruising. People were talking about kileen for the title.
The were a disrgace second half. Tried to bring the game down to a bad level.

Second year in a row that a player has left the field with broken bones in his face after being struck from kileen player.

Thats not how you win championships.
