408909 dean connolly from cootehil!!i think,,

The little speedy boy that came on and caused all kinds of hassle and got the goal?only a pup ,17 years of age,we'll do well to keep him interested he's after signing for dundalk soccer club so...... Anyone here around 22 or 23 might know his brother Darren-he was as good if not better, different mould of footballer though, a hard hitting centre back.

Update on players to watch well how can you pick players from the last two matches really as there was not much of a contest no matter Eamon Reilly once again showed that he is a good centre half back and has to be brought into the county set up.
Over the years I have mentioned Sean Reilly but sadly I now feel he is not right for the county set up discipline seems to follow this lad what a shame. Michael Lyng showed why he should be on the county panel for he did a lot of work again last night. Darren Rabbit had no work to do so what can I say about him. Despite the fact that Martin Dunne scored 1 goal and 7 points 5 of these were from frees I hope they don't bring him near the senior level for about 5 years or so for he is clever but a lot to learn as well good prospect for the future. Redhills sorry not one stood out for me including Paddy Gumley he scored 5 points 3 from frees.
Mullahorn this time the three county men stood out Dermot Sheridan and Paul Brady played man of the match performances. Brendan Fitzpatrick was the only one to note in the Belturbet team. I said I would like to see E.McGuigan again well I did and not good enough. Another match tonight but the weather is desperate so not good for football, gale force winds and loads of rain.??

yes agree played well but we need midfield half backs and full backs to fill the senior team and I suppose as he has strength why not give him a try .??

Always enjoy these threads as it lets you know peoples allegiance. You can always tell the genuine posters from the ones who are canvassing for their club mates or themselves. You'll always see a new poster with 1 post to his name called Hurling Neutral from Clare who will recommend a random player from a Cavan junior club in the back of beyond and will finish up with " I tink dats der names anyway, nt sure tho at all "

A few that have stood out are Niall McKiernan, Packie Leddy, John Lynch(Crosserlough), Barry Reilly, Raymond Galligan, O Connell twins(Castlerahan), Enda Gaffney, John Gurhy, Ado Cole, Paurick McKiernan (Crosserlough), Darren Costello. Also Sean Brady playing great football.

You are all over looking Junior Clubs. I know alot don't think much of it but there are still some good players in Junior.
John McCabe from Muntirconnacht. on his day can be lethal, has strength, skill and speed and he can score.
Mark Cunningham from Swanlinbar. Bit of a header but nifty wee forward. has great accuracy.
