A good drive could get ye far.. some serious young talent from the under 21s this year... look at the gaels and all ireland winners st. galls earlier this year, you can see just how small of a difference there is between the top(galls) and being forgotten about(gaels)

4.eoin mcphilips
5.paul brady/mccutcheon
6.mcguigan/mccutcheon
7.martin cahill
8.david givney

10.flanagan
11.nesty
12.mckeever
13.johnston

15.mackey

id love to see mccutcheon in there, but mcguigans prob a better center half back, and unless he takes bradys place theres nowhere else for him, unless you move cahill into the full back line.

I have no faith in Galligan at all! Forget about him please, he always plays well enough in a couple of league games or challenges and then flops in the championship.. Whats wrong with Cullivan and Givney in midfield ? Play a two man FF line of Johnston and Bud or D McKiernan with McKeever playing 15 coming out around the middle : 10. Ronan Flanagan 11. Gareth Smith 12. Cian Mackey 13. Bud 14. Sean Johnston 15. McKeever ??
Also i feel Barry Reilly should be on the panel pushing for a place .

what do people see in cullivan at mid field, very good player, not a county midfielder, even in cavan,a good option at FF.im still not sure about whether id rather galligan or mulvey, but at the minute i think galligan is the better option, seems to have improved a good bit from last year.i dont think bud is just ready yet,at the very start of the year i thought he was,but he should be next year,i could be wrong though, and i hope i am.if you move mackey out to the 40,hes as good an option as we have.i thought mckiernan might be a good option at FF,but last night has me thinking a bit more about it,todays game will decide whether its him or not.

how did the game against mayo go?

zamora, your team doesnt sound too bad,id rather see cahill and brady in the halfback line though but both are fit to do a good job at corner back.and galligan or mulvey midfield and move cullivan into FF,or keep mckiernan there.with that midfield change,id say thats the best team yet, just as good as mine.

mayo game is not till next weekend as far as i know shapes... cullivan is a better option at MF than galligan, the 12 people at the galway game could see that easily!

Shapes42 good team apart from McCutcheon will definitely start wing back and cahill will be probly be corner back instead of Mcphillips.Hopefully Mulvey will be midfield instead of Gailligan.i dont rate Gailliagan at all.

I just hope we hav a plan B this year unlike last year if and when things go wrong..Last year we were like headless chickens when things went wrong...In my opinion our best full forward line would be 13, johnstone..14 cullivan.. 15 mackey..But if things were going against us in midfield Cullivan could be brought out and space created for johnstone and mackey to roam and switch and operate as two man full forward line..Cullivan while not maybe a 70 min midfielder could still do a job ther if needed for 20 min or so..Its all very well all of us pickin a 1-15 but things will go wrong and thats where we have to be able to adapt.. That has been a big problem this past few years...We could easily call Fermanaghs bluff.. Name johnstone to start in the corner forward.. then because of his injury and lack of match practice dont start him...Fermanaghs tactics would be geared at stoppin johnstone then all of a sudden he dont start...Confusion in fermanaghs defence already.. who pics who up now...Cheeky move but could work..

i also would have mulvey at mid ahead of galligan but don't tink he's fit for 70 minutes of county football...

Zamora Barry Reilly is far 2 light for senior Inter county football. He needs to bulk up big time and plus the man is only 18 so give him a chance and dont rush him!

Alright maybe hes a bit young but thats rubbish about bulking up, he was a star with the under 21's and not afraid to get stuck in, plus hes just as strong as Cian Mackey or Martin Reilly ? Hes playing great stuff with Kingscourt seniors that are top of the league ?
