drive it on, how many chances do you want chesty to get? He was in the squad on a number of different occasions and never really tok his club form to intercounty level.I agree with Hugh and Rex Banner with sticking with Dunne and Mc Cutcheon, both younger than chesty and have done very little wrong at county level

agree with killygarry boi too,Mc Keever should have been brought back in a few weeks ago as he'd be an addition to any squad, but feel it wouldn't be fair on the other lads in the squad if he was took back at this late stage

so men as the day draws nearer are you feeling confident?Have we any chance of breaking even at midfield?Who will play fullback? Will Pierson do what we all know he is capaable of? Will Carr have a real gameplan?

good questions baron, if pierson plays well we've a serious chance, can fermanagh cope with him and johnstone scorin freely, i think carr has a gameplan but its up to the men on the day to execute it, mc cutcheon should play well as he can carry ball forward or deliver good passes, i think dunne coud get the nod at at full back or hannon to deal with the strength of carson, in all cavan for sam

The whole match is deferred at 9 on rte. Its shown live on the web if thats any use. Starting team should be announced tommorrow. Paul the gunner will be a huge loss as his reading of the game would have helped against Fermanagh. Anyway best of luck lads

i think lots of teams find fermanagh very difficult to beat. Cavan will have to be very fit in the half back and half forward line as the amount of work our boys get through is massive. Our half backs do as much attacking as our half forwards defend, i dont think either team can afford too many missed chances as we dont really make too many nor give too many away. Cavan v Fermanagh championship matches where always memorable games for me (although we always lost!) as they were great tight games. I think Sunday will be the same, Home advantage and the suprise element are cavans so its hard to call. I will tentitvely go for fermanagh by one or two points, a great game ahead i think!
