Karl Kiernan,Andrew Dewart,Stephen Leddy and Conor Madden were excellent for Gowna.Madden scored 3-7. Dean Hyland was quiet enough he only scored a couple of points

Kingscourt were poor.dillan,d full 4ward nd centre bac didn't even wanna no didn't try for a 50-50 ball,no kingscourt lad stood up.de 2 grahams ran de show, klas.but d game itself was poor to watch.

in division 2 gowna ind 1st half wer outstanding, some of de best football i've ever seen.they'd de game over before half time didn't even try ind 2nd half.again was poor to watch.andrew dewart, carl kiernan and conor madden ran de show.d gowna keeper was suberp 2..top klas players..other dan dean and noel crowe denn had nobody nd even these 2 players wer quite.anybody fancy gowna for de divison 1 champ or whoz fav's.??

yes hyland was the number 7, Gowna have a fist full off quality players in their team and will be a hard act to follow, it would seem that Denn were playing in the wrong division for gowna were streets ahead of them all over the park. Very poor in some positions.

Madden scored 4-7 great talent. Dewart had a fine game massive engine. If Hyland was number 7 he was good, must of got 6points but had no players out the field to get him the ball. Just showed gowna were far superior than denn and will alot of division 1 teams.

it could have easily been shercock winning this division 2 title as their semi final against gowna went into extra time and shercock were missing a lot of first team players for that match. They surely have to be favourites for the championship now.

Div 1 Final
We may not have got a good final, But there were some good talent on both sides The Gael's has the two Grahams and Murray and Kingscourt has Dillon and Lynch. These five are as good as you get any where

Dillon did not try from what I saw on Friday evening. If Shercok ran Gowna so close in the simi final well then if they can continue like that I am looking forward to seeing them play for that Gown team ran Denn al over the park.

Yet again Youth Board got gradings wrong. That Gowna team won Div 2 at Under 14 very easily. Two points: 1) Youth Board should have moved them up and 2) Gowna should have looked to move up. Far too many clubs in Cavan sitting in and asking to be put in lower divisions so they can say they won something. The sooner clubs push young lads on to improve and to push them to play against stronger players then Cavan as a whole may benefit. Giving players the attitude that they are great because they win a lower Roinn title is not of benefit to anyone.

Well I saw that match and Gowna were far superior to Denn. I think that had Gowna being playing Cavan Gaels they would have being too strong for them also such was the strength in dept. Two more this evening call in and enjoy for this is the future of Cavan football, I think these are the teams tonight.

Div 4 at 6 45p.m.

Lacken v Ballymachugh

Div 3 at 8 p.m.

Drumgoon v Shannon Gaels

dagaa...i agree wit you..but i asked a gowna player y wer dey not in division 1 and he said dey wanted to be but dey wer'nt allowed move up. ramor who dey hammered ind u14 final wer in division 1 nd did ok.gowna should have been der. shercock and drumalee could of played division 1 football 2. but drumalee if dey've de right attitude wil win division 2, dey've by far de best players. shercock aren't dat gud,,gowna couldn't score against dem and shercock only scored a point trough out 80mins football so their hardly dat gud.
b-boro nd balyhaise ta bounch back 4 de champ...??...any1 agree

ballymachugh won by 2-17 to 1-9. lacken kicked a lot of wides but ballymachugh deserved to win as they were a lot more clinical in front of the posts.
