Underage winners u14, u16,minor?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

dromore will be the team to beat in u16s winning the double in u14s with omagh coming close.

naomh mhuire have a few good players at this age but and can be taken care of like when they played dromore in u14s. matty mccaffrey roosting mcgahan, quinno roosting mccurry, mcgrath getting skinned inside out by a tall quick player i think he somtimes plays midfield and great goal scoring skills scoring a vital goal against mcrenaults.
slippy injured that game.

But dromore now wit two top class defenders injured quinno and tommy mccarron but should be back for championship

if naomh mhuire happen 2 meet dromore i think they will beat them easly.. its there u16 men that are winnin thm there minor games.. darren mc curry i havn the best season of his life so far an conor mallon an lorcan mc grath hav also been key players for thm so far so if they take these proformances into u16 they will go a long way..

re to an baile nua:
just like newton, lough have also matured. lough also made very convincing wins over newton in their u-14 campaign, yet i must also mention thta wile lough won the cship, newton won the league which left both teams on what i would consider level peggings.
loughmacrory definitely have more players than the donaghys as you stated. niall nd ryan may have been key players in the u-14s, bt lough also have other star players. cormac mc gaughey is a superb forward and has two of the best feet in tyrone, while conor donnelly and connall mc elduff are possibly two of the greatest defenders in the u-16 age group. niall donaghy is still playing a pivotal part in loughmacrory's youth teams like the minor team of which he is captain. yet ryan donaghy has faded to a shadow of the player he used to be, giving up minor football for his club, yet still attending u-16 tyrone trials. which he may have got on , though only because his form teacher is the manager.

however i feel that i may also mention the grimes's, ferghal, declan, mark, niall nd pearse, all of whom have played major parts in their youth teams nd the teams above their own age group and are central to loughmacrory teams. eoin, mullin, brendan donaghy and enda curran are other players who deserve a mention as they have been very successful players in underage football and have been asked to attend tyrone trials two years in a row.
an baile nua, i would advise you to again consider the loughmacrory players and realise that they are not a two man team, but one that is filled with great potential, and that they are the biggest threat to newtonstewarts chances of success in the u-16 category.

Naomh Mhuire have an outstanding and fearful team with the likes of McCurry, McGrath, McGahan, Mallon so its really between them and Omagh who have got Canavan, McBride, Bradley and Brannigan. Feel that Dromore arent going to push for much this year. Division 1B still looks tougher than 1B with Carrickmore also looking as if they've got a good team. 1A is between Naomh Mhuire or Clonoe and 1B between Omagh, Carrickmore or Dromore.

Tyrone_Ladd_09.. sorry to say but if you think that naming all those players will make me change my previous comments it wont because you have just backed me up in way by saying that the lochmacrory team have weakened and are now down to just one donoghy. Also Fergal Grimes is a good player, not a great player and i am sure that newton's centre half forward will show him up wether it be Mark McElhatton or Darragh McGuigan. However i will agree with you that lochmacrory are the only team to have a slight chance of beating newtownstewart this year but will still have to keep dreaming about any honours this year.

This newton team doesn't have any players who think there above the rest of the team, there all good players and play well together. Yes i do believe newton will win something this year, i have said all along that it will be between newton and lochmacrory for the honours as they were leaps and bounds above the rest of the teams.
