Does the name not give it away, newtownstewart. Did Clonoe even qualify last year? didnt hear much about them anyway. an_baile_nua (Tyrone) - Posts: 224 - 16/04/2009 00:22:36 258558 Link 0 |

Clonoe are a grade 1 team from the east, not as good as the teams from the west. In a friendly im sure Loughmacrory and Newtonstewart would both beat you convincingly. As for us not being grade 1 teams, we are definatly the quality of grade 1 and if we had of been given the chance to have gone up i believe would have left a mark. an_baile_nua (Tyrone) - Posts: 224 - 16/04/2009 17:36:52 259325 Link 0 |

I Agree with an baile nua i believe that newtownstewart have a great team this year under 16 wise....they are great contenders for the 2 trophys and i belive the louch will give a gd attempt for them also Young_Player (Tyrone) - Posts: 9 - 24/04/2009 19:24:09 267640 Link 0 |
I have to agree with an baile nua i belive that newtownstewart have the quality if players to win the grade 2 title and i also belive that the louch wont be too far away also Young_Player (Tyrone) - Posts: 9 - 24/04/2009 19:27:39 267641 Link 0 |
Dromore to win the u16 championship this year. Although they are missing their 2 best defenders they will be back for the buisness end of the season. THey still have nough talent to get them that far. Kildress in the frst found of the championship. Should beat them handy. Then i think they play Naomh Mhuire in Dromore if the beat Kildress. That would be a cracker of a game to watch!!! Who's the main men for the likes of Omagh, Dromore and Naomh Mhuire this year? anybody and views or comments? 118_24_7 (Tyrone) - Posts: 4 - 25/04/2009 20:03:17 268044 Link 0 |
an_baile_nua are you joking?!! saying dromore don't have a chance because of their OG SPORT results... fuppin (Tyrone) - Posts: 567 - 25/04/2009 23:40:26 268122 Link 0 |
castlederg u-16s will do well this year! castledergman (Tyrone) - Posts: 13 - 25/04/2009 23:44:37 268124 Link 0 |
hi boy just hold your horses there....that's an awful cocky thing to come out with, "should be a cracking game to watch" how do you know they'll even beat kildress? they are a good side with the big lad McCaffrey in midfield. who are their two missing defenders? and im sorry to rain on your parade but i predict a kildress double on dromore, firstly now in the minor c'ship "handy" and u-16 ;) 50_fiftyball (Tyrone) - Posts: 174 - 26/04/2009 00:11:45 268131 Link 0 |
i agree with the fact teams have changed and improved. the uderdogs two years ago for under 14s arn't the same for under 16s this year, some teams ave alot of young players but alot of shocks will happen this year in my opinion in the under 16s grade 1 league . irishwisdom (Tyrone) - Posts: 33 - 26/04/2009 12:04:35 268208 Link 0 |
