Nolans speddy but not great accuracy,heard cornafean put a 14 year old who usually plays forward on him an done real wel on him an sean kept compaining to the ref sayin he was hittin him an the ref sent the 14 year old of 4 nothing,he was wel enough marked against cuchulains also

lado9, if by marking somebody you mean dragging, tripping and kicking a player around the pitch then no wonder football is the way it is in the County. Sean Nolan on his fist day back scored 1-07 and hit the crossbar twice against Cornafean. The referee should have sent off a player long before he did for continous fouling. I dont know where the notion came from that he is not accurate as he beat Cornafean in the Div 3 game with 4 well taken points from play. Give credit where credit is due.

Its my opinion that conor bannon from Drumport is definitely due a run out on the county minor squad. Have seen him play in various positions and think he is a terrific midfielder, who can run at defence and not afraid to put in atackle when needs be. I think its a disgrace more players like this young athlete from west cavan dont get a lookout on the county team

I'm guna have to agree with body_fuel there. connor bannon is a touch of class, he has been carrying that drumport team all year with a lot of help from sean murphy, bannon is a great driving force for the team and murphy can't seem to miss once he is past the 45 yard line, they are two boys who should get a call up to the county minor panel before the championship.

Redassasin, you have obviously seen young Bannon play on one of his rare off days, I have been a keen follower of football in west cavan for a long time and know it when I see a talented player and Bannon is one of the most versatile players to come out of west cavan in years. Most of his performaces this year have been top class. Bannon for County.

1. I'm not from templeport!
2. I'm not bias, i'm just giving credit where it's due!
3. DIV4 has quality players too, just look at the likes of Mark Curry!

mmcf to kick points or kick wides you have to get the ball, so at least you agree with the point that Sean Nolan is a good player who gets plenty of the ball. As regards scoring he contributes handsomely and is capable of turning half chances into goals.

Cornafean looking very good in the minor league, could see them being a real force to be reckoned with in the championship, will give ballyhaise a good run for there money. I wonder if paddy powers giving odds on them to win the championship
